Our area usually really wet but this years its been dry with little rain. I noticed a droopy tree equals a dehydrated tree so I'm trying to learn how to help them a little. Can't givr much thanks to the drought but somethings better than nothing
Yes - do not get trunk wet! but 1/4 inch tubes are not a long term solution. Lets think LONG TERM! Spray or "stream" for maximum surface area - is best if possible.
Totally depends on Soil Type and if there is any slope. To much water to quickly like from a sprinkler on a slope and it will run off . Wasting some of Newsom's water.
Great video guys. We run an irrigation/permaculture biz out here in Phoenix.

Heavy mulching will help.
