i just wish that we can hop in empty servers to learn more in depth abt different spots in the map, the R5 modded version seems complicated for me + its outdated. however gj u gave us the most helpful guides for this game. ur my fav content creator in the apex community and the most charming personality keep it up : )

I am an old-school player and selected sensitivity using the method of selection and general comfort, and I am somehow skeptical about the PSA Method, but many of my friends note that the PSA Method helped them find a balance between accuracy and speed. I would like to know your opinion on this matter. I’ll try this method, it’s interesting to see for myself what comes of it, no matter how lazy I am to get used to the new sensitivity. =/
My DPI is 1700 and my apex sense is 4.32 and I use the per optic modifier. I can go full 360 moving roughly 2.5 inches either left or right from a center position. I don't play with much mouse room as I don't have a big desk and my hand is level and stationary giving my wrist adequate room to maneuver. I also play at 110 FoV on a 75Hz 1080p res. Honestly the most difficult gun for me with these settings and restrictions is probably the havoc. Everything else is honestly like butter. I also don't use any form of mouse acceleration. Mouse accel in any FPS is absolutely terrible.
The sens you are using is 'insanely' high compared to majority of fps players. 1700 dpi + Apex sens 1 still belongs to highest sens category but manageable and some pros got a hang of it. Sure, you should use what's comfortable for you, but there's still a fine line though. 4.32 at 1700 seems humanly impossible to have precise tracking and micro adjustments. But if you are really sure that, that's the sensitivity what's working for you, then all good. I'm just commenting to make you sure about sens, if you're succeeding in diff range, you don't need to worry about others what they have to say. But in case if you are struggling with single fire weapon shots, no mag 1 clipping, ARs recoil, its 100% not you, it's the crazy sensitivity you are using.
@@CrisprCasNein Yup i'm sure. I would show an SS if i could. The default mouse sense threshold is 5.00. Mine is set to 4.32 and Synapse confirms my DPI remains at 1700. As I said, I play with limited hand room so my aim movement is wrist based not arm based. The camera doesnt spin wildly when I'm aim. It's actually quite comfortable. Updating this comment with my current per optic: hip/1x - 0.5 2x - 0.6 3x - 0.8 4x - 0.8 6x - 1.0 8x - 0.5 10x - 1.0 I don't use the sniper digi optic so I'd don't care about 10x.
another thing to talk about is dpi deviation, where a dpi, for instance. 800 on a g pro superlight, will be different to a dpi of 800 on a mouse like the razer viper v2 pro
I really want to ask since I don't see this enough: do you know of any Nintendo switch UA-camrs we could watch for us switch players? And can this video also be applied to switch players
If you've been using mnk for a long time, fast sense first, then slow. Keep repeating. You'll settle in just in time to realize it was never sensitivity, but tempo.
So this might be a little crazy, but when I first started playing apex on MNK, I randomly choose 3.8 sensitivity with 1600 dpi and never tried anything else. I thought that it was pretty low at the time, but I realized later on that I have the highest sensitivity of anyone I have ever seen. I'm a master player with multiple decent runs in CC as well as having played in some tournaments. So yeah, 3.8 with 1600 dpi, I think it is a really good sensitivity even though it is quite high.

This is because when you go low to a certain point, the aim assist is actually faster than you can move your aim. With a sense that slow, 2 for example, you’re basically pointing in the enemies general direction, letting aim assist guide you and fine tuning it (for recoil etc). It’s extremely strong in the headglitch firing range however isn’t very practical in-game. People use 4-3 because it’s as slow as u can get without being too slow to track peoples movement
Your ADS sens no matter FOV is scaled to be lower. Let's pretend FOV is preset and you cannot change it. ADS sens are all scaled down. To match hipfire to 1x, then you need to change sens to 1.25. Your FOV is always this multiplier no matter if its 90 FOV - 110.
It is not. He didn't mean isolated per optic sens only. He meant hipfire sens as well. I use relatively low sens (1.1 at 800dpi) but I would love to keep the sens only when pressing my fire button. It would be extremely good if I could use high sens for tracking when not shooting (I came from pubg mobile, and we had that. Fast sens in general but slow when I am shooting, not just ads) @@ExisYT__YT

I noticed that improving micro flicks also improved my recoil control

i play with 1600 dpi and 0.38 and never had a problem with aiming
How do you get 1 player lobby in s18? This is the best way to practice movement. But respawn made it with 30 players threshold.

I used to run 1600 3.6, i now run 1600 2.7. I’m also a multi-masters and have tourney winnings etc. high sens FTW!!
