Even though they didn't get voted out, I think the schoolyard pick in Palau was heartbreaking. They made it all the way through casting only to not get picked to be on a tribe.

Completely agree! I still think it was the meanest thing Production ever did.
Janet from S39 - it was heartbreaking for many reasons. First of all she was such a hero character and a big inspiration. Then her confessionals - she thought she was safe because of the idol and didn't see the idol nullifier coming. She also said how she thinks she could actually make it to the end and win. And as a viewer you could tell from a far that she would be taken out. And in her final words she was also so devastated "I feel like a fool for allowing myself to think that I could actually win".
season 39 was a disaster. but I really liked janet, and the season was not very good without her tbh.

Any winner that was so pushed like that made a lame season. Tommys a lame winner and nobody could even get close to him.
Cool Guy Casey Missy did until she made her fatal mistake. But she played a strong game up until that.

Even though Janet was not a super exciting option to be the winner she was the most exciting of the final 6. Probably the first four merge boots took out the 4 best players, but Janet was the decent winner after a horrible messy season

I always thought about how sad Tina's elimination was, you can really see how her grief gets lost in translation in the episode. Heart wrenching start to what becomes one of the kookiest seasons ever
Luke Toki’s elimination in Australian Survivor Champions VS Contenders was the saddest thing ever
Especially because of what she was going through in her personal life, because I can't even begin to imagine the pain of being out on an island surrounded by strangers with nothing to do for 3 days while you've recently had to bury your son

The whole Winners at War season is heartbreaking vote outs... they need to make a tribe out of those at the Edge
Truly Unbelievable crazy how no “old school” players are left in the game. Sandra, Amber, Ethan, rob, yul, parvati, and danni all voted out while we have people like Adam and Sophie still in the game 🙄

I still remember Brenda's last words from that tribal: "I was honest with you guys. I was genuine with you guys. It hurts." all between restrained sobs. It was so sad to see.
Not to mention she searched for Dawns teeth so she wouldn’t quit.
It’s why everyone lost respect for dawn after that moment

Dawn was a bit of a mess emotionally but made a bold game move, wasn't personal, but was a really bad lead up to take out Brenda. I felt bad for her but that went away when she was straight up vicious to Dawn at final tribal. That was cold.
The lesson we learnt from Brenda: don't win the family reunion reward.
And don't give up Immunity for anything or anyone
As sad as it would be to miss out on spending time with your loved one more than the challenge, that's actually the most strategic thing. Everybody assumes the loved ones reward crew formed a tight bond because of their loved ones and being chosen to go. Not going prevents a target on your back.
Spencer's elimination from Cagayan hit me hard. Because as a super fan of the game and huge nerd I saw a lot of myself in Spencer and saw him overcome being on the horrendous Brains tribe and saw him get to the finale and then to see him lose made me pretty emotional.
yes!! i was in high school at the time and was absolutely in love with him and thought he was really gonna get the win. i was so upset at school the next day and complained to all my friends about it even though they didn't watch the show
He was the underdog that whole season!!
I'm only two years younger than Spencer and I absolutely loved seeing him play because I saw myself in him so much, so to see him get so close and then fall short was heartbreaking.
I always say that if I played Survivor, I'd probably come off as Spencer, lol (I'd probably try to play differently, like either Stephen Fishbach or Aubry Bracco, but it would totally end up coming across as Spencer). 😊

ICool163 I agree, besides your 4 and 5. The writing was just on the wall for those legends to go home, the producers didn’t screw them out of anything and they were just on the wrong side of the numbers in positions where they weren’t attractive to keep

Micro takes the cake. I love Parv but god that was brutal
Cirie is a worthless player and never should have gotten as far as she ever did
Especially the most recent with there was no vote cast against her but everyone else had an immunity necklace, idol, or advantage.
1. Kellee from Island of Idols-The gaslighting that occurred about sexual harassment and the fact that she had an idol in her pocket when she was voted out made this one really sting.
3. Malcolm from Philippines-I’d been rooting for him the whole season and thought he was getting the winners edit. When he lost, I was shook.
2. Matt’s second time from Redemption Island-It felt really cruel to vote him out as soon as he came back and it’s when the season changed into Rob and his cult marching toward victory.
3. Brandon from Caramoan-Seeing how much everyone on that tribe was hurting was painful to watch. And Philip Shepherd is an obnoxious character who I just cannot stand. If I was stranded on an island with him, I’d probably snap too.
4. Trish from Cagayan-She played Tony’s game for him. She trusted him. And he slit her throat. I just felt really bad for her.
5. Rob from Amazon-He played such a great game and it felt really unfair that he got booted by someone who was crying and. Asking people to vote her out just a few episodes earlier.

To add insult to injury, the next vote out on 39 was Jamal, who was one of the few people to stand up for Kellee and say that what happened to her was not right
Cydney is underrated and one of my favorite players. She is overshadowed by Aubrey. Although I also love Aubrey, Cydney is one of my all time favorites. Hope she returns.
The scene with Ethan & Parv... so sad & sweet. Last episode was just an all-around heartbreaker!

Love him or hate him, Rick Deven's game from Edge of Extinction was phenomenal. He played idols, he carried relationships, he fought against the odds, and he barely came short to the fire making competition. I was in tears when he was voted out
Arrow Splash I was in tears too. I liked him at the beginning of the game, but I hardcore rooted for him after he came back and I still complain about that finale. He's one of my favorite new school players for sure
Yau-Man's vote out was harsh for me as well, but I definitely remembered Tina's vote out from Panama all this time later, the "talking to charlie" scene always stuck in my mind.
i haven’t watched yet, but for me the most heartbreaking is brenda. she sacrificed spending time with her loved ones for the rest of the tribe, and then the next vote she’s voted out

Peridiam nah man, I was so sad for Malcolm. I was so excited for him, and he was so happy the whole time and having so much fun, and when the first Malcolm vote came up, that was a whole new level of hurt on his face

I feel so weird for getting this way but Ethan is the most emotional I have ever felt about a Survivor. When he struggled to get the coin on EoE, he fainted and it took him so long, then when everyone surrounded him and helped him get through it, I actually cried. I didn't cry but that clip you showed was so awesome, shows how brilliant Parvatis social game is how she can find even in the darkest moments some personal complement that sounds authentic and comforted Ethan, it was great TV.
I feel the exact same way about Ethan. He's my absolute favorite winner.

It's so great seeing Parvati's growth. Seeing her be Ethan's rock at the end there shows how much she's grown since her early days. She never would have done that.
Ami getting voted out in Micronesia was one of the saddest, she cried and I felt it was really sincere.
Spencer Cagyan. I was 8 when 28 was airing and I was rooting for him so so much and when he was voted out, damn I was in tears😂

To make your Number 1 pick more tragic, I heard from a friend who went to the IOTI reunion that Tina was in the audience, stood up, and asked Jeff for a second chance during the break. Jeff basically ignored her and said "Hey, there's Timber Tina. If you ever want to learn axe throwing, hit her up!"

My Most Heart Breaking Vote out is Rudy in All Stars, man that moment when Rudy make the alliance with Ruppert and everyone else vote him out while the music sounds, for me it’s hard to watch.
Especially when Rupert, Ethan, Jerri, and Jenna all stand up and salute him on his way out

I felt the same way about Ethan’s vote off, it was so heartbreaking. To see him saying how much he wanted to get healthy to be able to play survivor again, and then to go out episode 3 hurt so bad
Ethan’s vote off was so heartbreaking you can tell how good of a person he is and seeing him come back after so many seasons to get voted of so quickly
Whenever I think of heartbreaking vote outs I always always think of Ami from Micronesia honestly one of the saddest vote outs I always remember

Daniel I live in the Philly area and the philly based survivors have hosted watch parties for Wendell during Ghost Island and now this season. Russell is usually there along with Brice, Gervase, and others. But Russell remembered my friends and I and always looks out for us!

Luke from Australian Survivor Champs Vs Contenders 2. The whole episode is a love letter to Luke and the amazing content he gave us and the show. People were so driven and moved by him and his story that they raised the prize money for him in a campaign. He’s one of the best players to never win and both times he was voted out I was heartbroken.
I agree 100% about Ethan being voted out in S40. I was routing from him to win, or even make it further and it was really devastating when he got voted out.
When you were talking about the Russell vote out, at first I thought the heartbreaking vote out was going to be Zane.
i was at the reunion show for island of the idols and tina was in the audience. she got jeff’s attention and asked him for a second chance. jeff just dismissed her and seemed not interested at all. i didn’t think much of it bc i didn’t remember her but i know who she was now lol

Totally agree with your top choice. That season aired when I was just a kid, so it didn't register with me as much back then. But I recently rewatched Panama and damn, I had to pause after that episode because I just felt so sad. What an amazing woman Tina is. Really gives me hope to get through tough times in my life.
Rick Devens. Literally played the game harder than anyone I've ever seen just to lose to the Edge of Extinction twist (Chris). The way he played was so exciting to watch. And his speech before he left made me cry. Rick was the best.

Watching season 3 for the first time I was impressed how they got fire by taking the lens out of the telescope they were given and made fire that way and just started to wonder how many genius ideas were made in the shows history to achieve fire, find food, use obscure survival skills or innovative shelters and camp life
Also maybe consider the opposite. The "worst" of them. I'm thinking Ruperts shelter right away.

Tina runs a log show up in Maine! My family and I went to see it and it was really fun. Also she is a huge Green Bay packers like me so that was cool. Super nice lady
I was crying really hard when Tina was talking about losing her son. Tina deserves a second chance to play. She and Cirie probably could have worked well together
What a reminder! I had forgotten I had seen Timber Tina’s show in Maine probably 10 years ago! It was a fabulous show, I have some wood signed by her somewhere in my basement
This is such a underrated channel.
I thought this was gonna be an April Fool's Day video and I was not prepared to get sad.
One other one that I found a bit heartbreaking (because of what happened, not who it happened to), was Scott from Kaoh Rong. You can see the moment when all of his confidence leaves his body as Tai holds on to the other half of the Super Idol, leaving him to die. It would suck to have a safety plan with an ally, just for them to not help you when you need it the most.
My most heartbreaking wasn’t a vote off it was Pat being medevacced. Still my favorite player of all time. Loved him preseason and in episode 1. I hope they have a Philippines 2 and bring him back
If anyone deserves a second chance its Pat. He seemed like a really strong player who could make a deep run and to have it end like that is just heartbreaking.

Hey man I doubt you’ll see this but I think you should watching the Australian Survivor and make some videos on it. In season 1 which was filmed in 2019 we had some real challenge beasts and I figured you’d enjoy it

Low key Terry from Panama was heartbreaking for me. Dude dominated the game and won literally every immunity but 1 and to see him get so close but then lose at the end was tough
Totally agree. On top of the fact that he had made a pact and literally saved Danielle's life days prior. And instead due to her giving Aras a head nod (which in the edit wasn't shown as much more of a quick look and bob, and to me at the time and rewatching after meant nothing) she keeps Aras. She was going to lose either way if you ask me, and I think she might have fared better against Terry. She would have had her whole tribe there for their votes you just had to remind them what you did and how you did it, instead, she fights Aras for the same easy (they were my tribe) votes and loses out.
@@fkollman She wasn't gonna fare better against Terry than Aras...she knew that, Terry knew that, Aras knew that, heck, everyone except apparently you knew that. Terry was obviously getting Austin and Sally's votes because La Mina, and judging by Shane's jury question, he was equally pissed at Aras and Danielle for turning on him, so if Terry had been an option for him to vote, he would've done so, and if you can do the math, with 3 votes already going Terry's way on a 7 person jury, that means he only needs to convince one of Courtney/Bruce/Aras/Cirie to vote him, and he wins

Ok the new episode starts in 1 hour and 22 minutes and I’m toooooo exxxciiteed
I have been a huge fan of thi s channel and could u plz do the top 5 most underrated player's?
For me, I havent seen so many seasons of survivor because I start knowing about the program just some months ago, so I have seen a few, among them; Australian Survivor (2016) s3 and I really cried for the first time in an elimination, it was for Kate Campbell, although she did not have much screentime in the season, it was sad to see her having a hard time seeing her team constantly lose, to only reach the merge just to be eliminated and in her last eps of her trying to stay in the game and tried to survive, it was tough.
Ok, the most times I’ve cried about a vote out is in IotI (what?, I know!) they were:
1. Kellee
2. Janet
3. Lauren
The cut to Ron throwing the computer into the dumpster made me laugh so hard. Well done.
Oh man I forgot all about how sad Cydney’s elimination was. I wanted both her and Aubry to win and then neither of them won. And I still like Michele too! It was such an amazing final 3 and I wish all of them could have won.
When Carter got voted out. Kid just wanted to play. He looked heartbroken.

I almost shed tears during Sarah’s goodbye during the finale. It was such a sweet, genuine moment, and I absolutely loved her’s and Tony’s alliance the entire season.

She really killed that season. I remember wondering why she was brought back when she was such an early boot in her original season BvsW (not really her fault to be fair), then I saw her in Second Chance and I was like WOW. Second Chance is one of my favorite seasons.

you should do a video on players that were so close but not enough. For the people who got to the final 5 or 4 as huge underdogs and having a huge target, but just couldn't quite make it to the final tribal.

Tina is a phenomenal woman. Her strength is only matched by her softness, she has a heart as big as the ocean. We should all be such graceful survivors.

I liked Ethan story so much in S40 specially when he had to do the log challenge in EOE, personally I was going through a lot in my life and seeing him complete that inspired me so much to just push forward. So it was perfect for me.

Lauren in EOE, I saw some of myself in her and it being the season that got me really into survivor (ik its so recent). shes the player that had me wanting to jump into the tv and be in Fiji with Jeff Probst
David Wright in Millennials vs. Gen-X. His story really resonated with me, watching him go from wimp to strategic powerhouse and the biggest threat to win the game. First time I cried watching a Survivor boot, and it made me want to apply for Survivor myself. Very close second is Luke Toki's elimination in AUS Survivor: Champions vs. Contenders 2. That one doesn't get the number one spot only because it has a happy-ending thanks to a monumental crowd-funding campaign that rivalled the reward money, and would have dwarfed it had Luke not donated the rest to charity. He may not have won the game, but he became the people's champion.
Ethan getting voted out in a (brilliant) move of can't-get-the-king/queen-get-their-knight was heartbreaking. There is no doubt in my mind he will stay on the edge all the way through (as in he won't raise the white flag), but I hope he makes it back. He would be a HUGE target but I also think he would win if he were to make final 3.
Malcolm at the final 4. Joe, any season, I'm always sad when he leaves (but especially when he lost immunity because he literally fell out of the challenge). YUUUUUUUUL. Cirie at the no-vote-automatic-elimination tribal. Rupert in Pearl Islands. Not a vote out but Caleb when he was medevac'ed. Just about every vote from the original Blood vs Water. YAO MAN.
@@Chimcharlover13 it was a brilliant move! They kept the shields and eventually the shields got voted out. If they kept Ethan, I'm pretty sure he would still be in the game because he wasn't a target. He would've won this season if they let him go far. I love Ethan, but Michele and Jeremy made a great move.

@@Chimcharlover13 You do if you have plans to use the two bigger targets as shields, so you take out their closest ally and ensure that their options reduce down to where they have no other alternative but to side with you
@Tailslover13 While I can understand your reasoning, I clearly disagree and don't intend on changing my opinion. I actually think Adam has made more mistakes (namely voting out Rob, as that put him in considerable danger and if they had lost any tribe immunity challenge after that he most certainly would be going home). I think Tony has done a great job recovering. Personally, I am still cheering for Ethan, Yul, Sophie, Denise, Tyson, and surprisingly Ben. I have yet to see the latest episode though, so maybe all my favs are gone 😂
@@lovefromshirley I agree...Adam got incredibly lucky that Sophie was so good at the puzzle/maze parts of the challenges, because he'd have been chilling on Edge next had that been the case. And another mistake for Adam...the way he acted when he thought either Sarah or Ben had the idol...not good play at all
I think Russell Swan should come back for another season. He is a legend that no one think about. He never gave up no matter how hard everything hit him.
