I'm an older guy I live in Philadelphia in 1950 me and my friends swim in Devil's Pool in Wissahickon.... at that time the water was crystal clear but it was so cold you couldn't stay in it more than 3 or 4 minutes...still look beautiful but I hope that people are respecting it and not putting garbage all over LES BELL Marshal &Cambria Sts..Philly
The water is absolutely filthy and full of chemicals. The water is mostly run-off from the city streets. So nasty. Last time I went there I seen drug needles floating in the water.
