Just by looking at the title of the video you could see that it was going to go the opposite of what he said.

@@pika_dusk I tend to not trust the titles and captions of DGR and Ryukahr videos, they tend to be overexaggerated to get more clicks and visualizations (and that's perfectly fine, that's how this business works).

Here's an idea for level creators out there: make a horrendously hard level and name it "I Hope You're Not on Endless Mode".
I have a better one: one level with two roads. One super hard and one for players of the Endless mode.
Add lots of soft locks. 😂

@ That’s how you get a kaizo level into endless easy.
@@pretends2know well, I don't mean that the second road must be easy easy, just not trolly, one trick level or absurd precision. Something like that would help. Try the super hard part for the content and then the second road to get over the level.
The "try holding down" in the puzzle level killed me 😂😂😂😂😂
So for why you don't always get 10 coins on the first level is b/c the coins in the block work on a timer. You will have X frames after collecting the first coin to collect the other 9 coins. After that time frame, you cannot collect coins from that block
And the "holding down" trick everyone was yelling about only works if mario is big.

@@lioncattc4260 have you ever actually played the game? If you want to get all the coins out you need a mushroom. Small mario can’t do that. Holding it will just hit it once.
I think you should try sometimes giving yourself 1 free skip when you reach 3~5 lives. You reached level 7 with 15 lives and in the first seconds of the level you and the entire chat knows is almost impossible for you to beat this level with only 15 lives, letting you skip will add a lot more unpredictability to the run.
That's a great idea!
And it'd be pretty fair because the chances of him getting a level he can beat with only about 5 lives are pretty low but it'd still give him a small chance to continue the run.
That defeats the whole point of a "no skip" run, though...

Holding down on coin blocks doesn't work when Mario is small.
Thank you, I knew the coin block gave coins for only a certain amount of time/frames but I was was unaware of this.

Almost a one screen puzzle was a pretty decent level, I was fairly straightforward, but it's better than being stupid difficult, and that ending was hilarious too 😂😂

Dave’s run only died because he didn’t try throwing out the DGR guarantee. I _know_ he’d have beaten that level on the life _after_ the guarantee!

1:20 the way multi coin blocks work is weird basically if you hit it wait then hit it again you don't get the max of 10 but if you hit it in rapid succession i.e. ground pounding and then holding it or jumping without stopping then you get the max of 10

On his stream he has channel points, which is like money, you can cash out it for him to do different things or you can bet on predictions that he'll make about how many levels he'll beat as an example. So in a way...yes 😂.

On the first level you can't hold down to keep hitting the block because you are small Mario, only as bigger Mario can you hold down on the block to continuously hit it.

that first level. I think I remember panga getting one like that but with a hidden mushroom somewhere as well as a hidden block for the last coin. could be the same level creator who got called out since panga left a comment where to find the hidden mushroom and coin.
I don't remember who it was (probably the youtuber known as Smashy) but awhile back someone did a video showcasing how you can get more than 10 coins from a block. I think it has something to do with with both the timer and how quickly you hit the block. If you do it right, you essentially get "free" coins.
