- Powered by beers and jetlag, I did a little improv thing at ProgPower 2018 in Atlanta while on stage with Nocturnal Rites. Not exactly a flawless performance but I sure did have myself a good time :)
His note choices is unmatched...
I could listen to Per noodle around forever :D

It's the micro bends that he does..... I try and wrap my head around it I just don't have the"touch" I wish I did.
Practice , just keep practicing. I found players like Aaron Marshall and Guthrie doing the same thing , eventually you get it .
Play ,repeat, play , repeat , add it into your scale practise , every few notes try the micro bends, and keep doing it, and doing it, and doing it, you get the idea :)
@BooBobly Who said try, harder ? We said keep practising, even the 'simplest' of techniques needs practise, its just arrogant to think otherwise, plus everything you said leads to the exactly what me and the others said, practise , but hey, you try and make yourself look special you must be a fantastic musician :)
Practice 4-5 hours a day, stop and stretch ever 15-20 mins, and use jazzIII picks.
You'll be a legend.
Nice control over the feedback and sustain. Tone-wise it almost reminded me of Vai’s setup with Flo. In the end, it simply reminded me of Per Nilsson and what an awesome musician he is. 🤘🏼👊🏼

Great stuff mate! What are you running through? Almost sounds like you've got a sustainiac/sustainer pickup, but I guess it's just the sheer volume/feedback? The harmonic overtones are just popping out.
I guess the chambered body helps with that (ala; Holdsworth) too.
I used an old Line6 POD X3 Live! Also the guitar is solid body, not chambered. Thank you for your kind words man!
