my mom had a general anesthesia c section for her twins (including me! 👯♀️) I want one too - apparently it’s most common in lower income WOC I think because we’ve suffered enough 😂
@emmawieson2121 I had an emergency C-section. They gave me the option of general anesthesia or a spinal. The general came with higher post recovery risks, so I opted for the spinal. My CRNA was fantastic and I remember very little of my daughter's birth 😀
I ended up having a panic attack during, I only had spinal, and had to get general because of the attack. Let your doctor know and see what they suggest.

I haven't seen that in my experience -- but talk with your provider when the time comes!
I'm fine with General Anthesia which was beneficial when I had to have an emergency C-section.

With my high anxiety levels regarding any sort of procedure, I could never be awake for a c-section.
