Nailed it again, Chris. One shot that jumped out at me was 2:48 -- the vertical with movement AND rotation. I've always love pure vertical shots (either forward or backward) but combining it with the rotation made it more interesting. The subject was just kind of "there" but the movement made it more compelling. Nice touch.
Thanks man. I really like those shots. Will have to work on ascending/descending rotation movement with panning the camera. Tricky though in the city. To many obstacles.
@@chrisbiela Yeah, I've done 3-axis movement out in the open plenty but you do a lot more constrained environment shots than I do (so far!). The good news about adding the vertical component there is that usually there is nothing above you unless you are dodging wires.
@@chrisbiela Yeah, I like doing the POI circles and having the altitude and radius changing at the same time. So you are focusing on something that you are circling (therefore movement and rotation) and the combination of the radius and altitude changing makes the vertical angle to the subject change and gives it a lot of depth. Oh... and doing that with the POI mode is a lot easier that doing it manually! But yeah, when I don't have a specific object to tag, I've often intentionally worked on the stick control to do 3 of those axis while I'm flying live... but doing the gimbal tilt along with them makes it more challenging. Of course, that's not what we are talking about with the shot above. The whole point of that one was that the gimbal was pointing down (and underrated shot angle).
@@chrisbiela Because it's great stuff, I'm always looking for aerials of SLC and I'm sure other are too. Most of what is available is very dated. You can make some $$ : - ). New sub BTW!
Hi chris! really awesome, great video, you are the guy!! Could you answer a question? l am terrified by the current situation resulting from the pandemic, here in brazil and in the world from what l see in the press.l am not sure if l will be able to get to know georgia as l planned, due to this situation.do you believe in the effectiveness of these vaccines developed in record time?😞😞😞
Hi Adriano. To be honest, I don't know for sure. Only a handful of people I know got vaccinated so far and they are not complaining about any side effects, so in my opinion it is good to patiently monitor the situation at the moment.
@@chrisbiela chris, currently the situation here in brazil is critical, there was an explosion in the number of cases and about a thousand or even more people die every day,for that reason l am concerned.thank you very much for being so kind and considerate!!😀😀😀
Such a beautiful place on film! Wish I could visit this place.
Yeah. Salt Lake is beautifully settled city.
I love salt lake city. Can't wait to visit again.
Thanks

@@FoxFlightDroneVideo Haha:) Actually filming objects is more fun and appealing with that kind of movement.

@@FoxFlightDroneVideo I know. Trying to make things more challenging for myself sometimes and it takes a while to master it.
Love the drone work... again! Wished you highlighted those lit trees with those beautiful lights a a little more. He he. Loved this. :))
Thanks 👍 Oh well. I liked those trees but seemed like my drone was not capturing clear picture in low light that morning so I picked different frames.
Those were the ones we were gushing over in the SLC night video a month or so back. ;-)
@@FoxFlightDroneVideo I remember those Christmas lights.. so pretty. :))
@@chrisbiela NP... you did another justice for drone flyers out there. :))
@@FoxFlightDroneVideo Yep:)
Such a wonderful place
Yeah. Salt Lake City is beautifully settled.

Very nice, my friend :-)
Thank you very much
I was there for a vacation this year
Great place to visit. Lots to do.
Very nice video! Did you license the footage to any of the stock houses?
Thanks. Why do you ask?

Great stuff. Wondering if I could have permission to use a piece of this for a school project?
Thanks but I can't allow that.
Team Giannis!

Missing SLC so much...
I'm glad I could help.

Largest Economy...USA..No Comparison 👍
It is large. Yet so much to wish for.
With a trickle down economy which is killing the middle class.

Sorry to hear that. We struggle as well but vaccinations brought some optimism for sure.
