I am Brazilian and I was very disappointed with the result this year. Gosh, Julia Gama didn't make so many mistakes, she was stunning ... No Brazilian woman has been crowned since 1968, and this is the third time that one of our girls is the 1st Runner-Up. Sorry for the outburst, but being in second place is sometimes much worse.

But when you judge you try to choose the right person. 12 different judges and a different winner might happen. Ultimately with every winner someone is disappointed. We must let go and hope that next time the cards fall out way. The women were just stunning and so smart. People who don't get patents are very rude about them, but for those who are into it, the women have this quality, they believe, they are kind, and they are smart. Beauty is just one of the things they have, huge hearts is usually the loveliest things about them. Helmut, keep watching and maybe your country will be called as the next winner;) just as I hope that is true for mine too. smiles

But I also have friends on the panel and know they are good people. The worst part of any pageant is afterwards talking to the absolutely stunning intelligent woman who didn't make it. You just caught me on a chatty moment so I talked a little more about the other side. Smiles. But I totally understand what you were saying. We went 40 years without another so hang in there. We now have three;)
