The black pencil skirt and the multi-colored blouse looked awesome together. I'm sure other colored skirts would look good as well but I honestly can't imagine your improving the look you modeled for us. But one thing in your favor is that you are so slim that pretty much ANYTHING looks good on you. I love seeing how you style things you get in your hauls.

What a great idea and job you did on the pink dress! It looks so pretty on you! I really like the ditzy floral dress on you just by itself, no belt. Another great idea to sew up the front. It gave me an idea for myself for a button down skirt that pulls apart between buttons. I really like all your Main Street Exchange skirts. You look so nice in them; I like how stretchy they look, too. I like the dark floral "out of your comfort zone blouse on you; looks good with the skirt. I think you made a good selection on both pairs of your pumps. With the neutral shades you can wear them with a lot of outfits. I know you are going to have such a good time going "home" to visit, your sister's wedding and enjoying FALL!!! Blessings!!

My fav outfit is the black pencil skirt with flowered print shirt. Such a chic look. A useful hack I use when shoes are too tight is to fill a baggies with water and place in the shoe. Pop both in the freezer for a day or so, and voila, the shoe stretches and should fit!

Tan or beige shoes always make your legs look longer! They extend our legs where other colored shoes cut our legs off. Those shoes looked great with all the outfits!!! I liked the Clark booties too!!!!

When my dress shoes are a little tight, I wear socks with them and wear them around the house to help loosen them up a little.

Love the v neck sweater with a light color denim pencil skirt and the booties also the green denim skirt our fit with the booties! Careful with the new pumps and the longer below the knee dresses the ankle strap cuts the length of your leg!! Just my opinion!! 🤣

Yes! The floral dress with white belt and cardigan looks very nice. Also brown belt with brown booties would look super cute and maybe a brown corduroy jacket or that thrifted pink cardigan would look great. The black pencil skirt with black, red & blue top is a win too.

I would go with that long maxi skirt with that dressy shirt. That’s a better option. The other skirt seemed a bit too worldly and tight to flashy. But the maxi skirt evens it out and makes it more modest and beautiful 💕
Lynette, you look so professional in that skirt and red multi-print blouse. I love that outfit! Floral print dress looks nice with or without the belt. You always look good in denim skirts but I liked the olive denim skirt the best. If you ever want to try ordering shoes, try shoes.com, the prices aren't bad depending what you are looking for, I always have better luck finding shoes that are comfortable and I like.
Glad to know I am not the only one who sews closed the button line on dresses and the sides. I thrift most of my clothes and also alter them as needed. Love the Bible verses at the end. You are a blessing in my life. :-)

Great outfits! Pro-tip: if you wear your pumps to a wedding or church service, pack a pair of flats in the car, so that if you go to lunch or a store (or reception) afterward, you can give your feet a break and put on the flats you put in the car! I can usually wear pumps for about an hour but if we are going to lunch after church or I need to grab groceries on the way home, I usually slip on flats or sandals :)
No your absolutely rite about old navy, you will always have to go down a size or 2, unless you don't mind it. I'm loving the low cut boots 👢

I love the look of buttons but I prefer clothing not to either gap or come undone so I tend to sew up the opening but leave the buttons on for decoration

I adore the long dress on you with the oatmeal sweater and belt💪. You can wear it without those things but it looks less casual with them.
I loved the dark black business skirt and the dark floral blouse but can you try it not being tucked in? I think you wear them all so well. You have a lovely way of wearing your clothing. I absolutely love the nude pumps on you, they are very business like and you wear them excellently. The pink dress turned out lovely and that was a brillant idea to repurpose it. Beautiful! I also loved the floral print in the dress and blouses/blouse. Your figure is very complimentary to waring the items you choose. Good taste! I did a but if sewing in my younger days and I have quit because I tend to be a perfectionist and I see that trait in you. You talk of being more patient and I think that I figured out that perfectionists and being more patient go hand in hand. I have pretty much out grown the perfectionism at age 62 and now things that at one time really bugged me no longer do. Honey I think you are growing up just beautifully. I use the term growing up because I truly feel at my age I am still growing up. I can forgive others now so much easier as I do put it in the hands of our Father in Heaven...

I love seeing who you are and who you are becoming as a woman in Christ. Modest dress and head covering have been a lifelong interest, because of my own upbringing, spiritual journey, personal convictions, church membership, and community. The pink v-neck is really lovely. I like the longer skirts for church, but I seem to be determined to shut my skirt in the car door! The scripture was on point for me. I love Clarks shoes! They're so comfortable to wear, especially my new flip flops I got this year! It's a certain line of shoes that Clarks has called Cloud Steppers and it really does feel like I'm walking on a puffy, comfy cloud! Also, that dress reminds me of Megan Fox too! She does wear a lot of prints like that.

Our Ross closed several years ago, which broke my heart. I was recently in Iowa visiting and they have a Ross. I bought so many cute tops there. Their prices can't be beat. I also shop a lot at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I like all the clothes you tried on. You look good in all of them. I loved the multi colored top with the pencil skirt. Keep the videos coming.
