uh, u know I thought that same exact think! Travis seems like he takes his drumming time very serious, so maybe turning upside down in a cage while playing may feel like he is clowning around too much or something. Of course I have no idea what he is thinking but that's how I see him. I absolutely LOVE to watch him play those drums. It's like he doesn't get tired, I get tired just watching him, lol, but yea, he 😊 closes his is eyes & enters into his own world and fking rocks!!!

Maybe it gives him that thought of being bk aboard a plane , he did say he will never fly again, and even seeing a fire still fks with him a little, so the fact that his body is no longer on the ground........... this was the first thing that came to my mind wen i noticed his expression.
it's just gravity pulling his face, he is just doing his thing rocking the drums
Saw Blink in concert this Summer. He did this and it was without a doubt the highlight of the whole thing.
What I have always, and still love most about Travis, is how he plays to ANY kind of music, and adds to it. I love his versatility and willingness to branch out beyond blink, always nails it, and you can see he gives his heart to it

That is all Travis he loves what he does all his passions he goes all in not half ass. As far as being upside down uncomfortable,he so into his drums that doesn't bother him,he like American Express I take him everywhere.

He has nothing on Jon Theodore’s drumming from The Mars Volta days. Thomas Pridgen, Gavin Harrison, Chris Tsagakis, Danny Carey. All fuck Travis up any day
@@Childofbhaal I've got as much respect for Theodore as anybody. But to say travis has "nothing" on him is completely ridiculous. What do you even base that on? If Travis had built a career with any band other than blink who are usually written off as a fuck off band he would get so much more respect. He plays more styles of music and does it so well. Better than any other drummers I can think of. I don't get all the travis hate just respect the guy and acknowledge that he's a really really great drummer

Umm...I can think of about ten drummers off the top of my head that Travis Barker couldn’t touch. Danny Carey, Tony Royster Jr., Carter Beauford, the list could go on and on. He is okay, but there are many drummers that have far more talent.
