i think it's more like about cultural differance of among provinces or villages. for example, my father who grew up in jeon-la province, he's very affectionate like a pure child. he was short-tempered person, so sometimes he yelled at me(but he never raised his voice to my mom) but he awalys showed affactions to me(kissing, skinships, asking about my day) and he's still like "my princess", "my baby daughter", "i love you" and sending text massages all the time, i mean..i'm 30 now...;
