3 years have passed. The stages before the output tubes are the drivers. Those have to be used to get some THD from the OT's.

All right, brother! That was awesome! I totally dig it!
I am considering the purchase of a tube compressor unit in the future and the Behringer T1952 is a top candidate.
    Thanks for the video.
    Best regards

Cool. You can always experiment with the tubes you use. Good luck

The tube saturation will work ok with the tube composer ,looks like your input volume is low for starters according to the vu meters that show input ,output and gain reduction , Note its not actually a tube compressor , and you will need to push the unit and to drive it a bit for the saturation to be noticeable i have other tube compressor that the tubes are in the pre amp stage and eq stage and so forth ,yes the tube composer will add slight saturation ,i have one and use it in my stereo system ,the best way to describe it is ,its like the old days of cassette recording if you recorded with dolby NR on then played back the recording with it off ,that is the effect that the tube composer will come up with ,actually i think it say,s that in the instructions ,if you want a real tube compressor ,go get an Avalon , TL audio , or even an ART VLA 2 ,but for the money the Behringer composer does somewhat of a nice job .

Huh, I agree with most of that. I am to used to my large guitar amp heqd with many large tubes. That saturation is so obvious when playing guitar through. I have experimented with many settings. Definitely not an expert on this unit. It sound like you are saying the volume goes hand in hand with the amount of saturation. Ill have to give that a try n see if I notice. An Avalon would be nice but cant afford that at the moment.

You used this just for acustic sound ?

Anything, more for the tube saturation "sound." Its ok, a bigger tube and it would sound a hell of a lot better. The compression is ok, if you are good at finding your ideal settings.
