WEARING A MASK DURING CARNIVAL

A Venezia, per secoli, per sei mesi l'anno non si vestiva la mascherina, ma la maschera... e tutti andavano in giro mascherati, a volte in maniera davvero singolare. E fare maschere, ieri come oggi, divenne un mestiere importante.
In Venice, for centuries, for six months of the year, not the medical mask was not worn, but the carnival one... and everyone went around masked, sometimes in a truly singular way. And making masks, yesterday as today, became an important profession.
