Those things were fairly popular for recording TV audo for that short period when video recorders first came out and when they became affordable to the masses. If someone managed to make one of these with a high speed tape deck that could record video onto a standard audio cassette, like the PXL-2000 toy camcorder from 1987, they would've at least piqued interest in buyers. Even with the really shitty picture quality and 5 minute recording time the PXL-2000 had.
I glad you smashed the crt tv I like to see more your video on when you smash a crt tv because I like seeing it smashed and everybody hates crt tv now and I hate it a 100% as well too
Not always matey. You’ll be surprised that a lot of people still love old CRTs over LCDs. Also they are much better built than modern LCD garbage that is on the market now these days. I have an early 70s B/W crt which has never been electrically restored and not in mint shape but it still 100% works. Our first flat screen crapped out after we had it for a couple of years.
@@smashthings1 No. I'm not destroying devices that work senselessly. And now please don't tell me that the device is broken. You can clearly see that it works
Well you gotta give it credit for one thing; the condensor-mic actually condensed your voice, so it wasn’t lying. But it still had to get smashed for not being durable enough.
"I'm trying to save the bees inside."
He's the hero we deserve just not the one we need right now.
*actually I quite enjoyed that* ❤️❤️❤️
It's a shame you have no clue how highly prized these things were when they were first produced
I'm sure this thing belongs in a museum.
😂
@Not a doctor 😂

I’d rather have a good crt over my garbage lcd one. Except that eBay sellers think that they can sell them for hundreds for some reason

@@patrick7447 OK and it's not yours so why bother complaining?
No, do not do that, The CRT flyback transformer contains 6kV to 10kV, so he might get a slight shock.
I have that exact TV
2:20 You smashed the tape to smithereens 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 📼🔨

HOW'D THE BEES GET IN THERE?!
Another vintage thing smashed out.😥
yes this person hasn't any idea about anything
Definitely.
Yep! So awesome!
That's the only thing I wish you'd not smashed up
He’s destroyed more valuable things…
Is so cheap
I not like
Recebi um ☝️ do
Can I buy what you smash
Just go to a scrap yard.
An instant open tape deck is actually a sign of being cheap, and will likely damage the tape. No wonder that Wank Arena was worthless.
I think it was only $2 at a garage sale, so it really was worthless.
@@smashthings1 Cheap junk! Probably worth less than the cheap Jensen stereo cassette thing I have.
