- This talk by Jun Cowan and Brett Davis (Orefind) was given on the 21st of May, 2018, at the Australian Resources Research Centre (ARRC), Perth, for the Applied Multi-scale Structural Analysis in Mineral Exploration Workshop organised by TeamWA and Geoconferences, and sponsored by Orexplore (www.orexplore.com).
Enjoyed this too much. Especially the jokes.
This was such a delightful find! What a great presentation. Very informative and interesting.
So into one belived mewhen I said there was gold in quartz in Tennant creek. Because they were obsessed with magnetic targets and geophysical, also sometimes the lines are surveyed in properly but the flags are on the wrong line.......or my GPS was fucked not. Samples in the field can become mis labelled, this really fucks with interpreting mineralisation.
Thanks for sharing this. It really helped me understand the minex applications of structural geology as well as some of the ways geologists can trip themselves up!
I came for the geology I stayed for the very visible jokes.
Fucking core logging man?...I need more jazz
what an awesome talk!!! great sense of humor also!
9:06 Sure no one can prove it cus the Earth is flat and the Sun revolves around the North Pole ;)
Thanks, Really Now we can think out of bias. And believe on field observation.
Woah.... this is the best video i hve ever come across....
Actually its interesting how your theorys develop anisotropic stress characteristics, delineated by mineralogical changes
Turn out..i always in the fantasy island.
Witty geologists are my things 😂, thanks! 🙏
