Ok I'm gonna say it here...I've been a Nord user since 2010 and I don't think I could stop UNLESS my Stage 2 dies on me...cus YOU GUYS MAKE THEM WAY TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE NOW. I can't spend a third of my musician's anual salary on a keyboard, no matter how great it is...and let's be honnest...the new ones are only maybe 10~15% better than the old ones, but at least 100% more expensive ! You guys are now the Apple of keyboards...ok hate me now
There's so many features from older models which you will not find on other keyboards. Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it worth to buy? Yes. And i mean... nord way always expensive. :D
I'm pretty sure the Stage 4 has several times the features/functionality of the Stage 2. To be fair, if someone is making minimal $$$ a year on music, then the Stage 4 probably isn't a reasonable purchase - that isn't an issue of instruments' price.
@@EulogyfortheAngels The sample memory is the biggest offender for me. The Stage 2 has 500 mb of memory for the piano, while the Stage 4 has 2gb. That may be four times as much, but this linear increase in memory is ridiculous when the products are about 12-13 years apart, especially considering that sample memory is shared with ALL the piano types (grand, upright, wurli, clavi, rhodes etc.). You'd have to load up only the small/medium sample sizes to get a decent sized library, which greatly decreases the dynamics of the samples...
@@EulogyfortheAngels yes it is an issue...I've paid 3500 for my stage 2 in 2012 and now the stage 4 is more than 7k in Canada...is it a greater keyboard ? Yes. But TWICE as much ? No.
till this very day not even a NS4 signature sound bank that be worth the downloading. Strictness in bank creation is missing, yet I'm sure creativity overflows in nord comunity.
That's some fantastic playing!!🔥🔥
