If a light come with a 21700 battery don’t test it with a lesser battery, like an 18650 battery. Your audience wants to see what these lights can do . Use the 21700 battery so we can see it’s full potential. It makes a difference.
Don't let the model number fool you. These light are completely different from each other. The TS30S is by far a better thrower. This is expected. However the TS30 is a much better general purpose light. Most of us really need a general purpose light. Throwers are highly specialized for specific applications. If you cant decide, get both.
Careful running 18650s in 21700 high power design, you could be bringing those 18650s to nearly full short when using turbo which will degrade the battery health faster with internal heat or blow up in the worst case and you wont get the full output of turbo for more than 1 second or so if the 18650s cant give the current anyway. I think we are limited with 18650s and the more efficient circuits and LEDs to about 4500 lumen absolute max for a very short time when using one 18650 until technology advances again in the years to come.
You’re standing too far to the right against the wall. Need to stand in the middle of the roadway and shined a flashlight down the middle so I could get a good idea of how far the beam can shine just shining it against the walls and stuff now not that great get in the middle Road center yourself and showing that beam right down the middle of the road. At least do it once. It was horrible just staining to the left of the road that made the review not so good for otherwise a very good review
Thank you for your time and effort showing both these lights I really like the TS 30s

do they both use Aundril and charge off USB-C?
You really needed to have 21700 batteries in both lights to compare them. It is very possible that those 18650 batteries limited the lumen and throw.
It isn't possible, it is definite
Cheers 👍👍 liked & subbed!

Never use more than 2000 lumens on 18650s
Great review ! I just subscribe …. 🔦
