Hi! I think if you put your mind to it you can do anything. Save some money, probably not much as it is very cheap to travel in Mexico and Central America. I was in Guatemala in 1993. I had $100 US when I crossed into Mexico from Texas. I traveled by bus to the Mexico/Guatemala border and did volunteer work in some Guatemalan refugee camps on the Mexican side, then went into Guatemala for 2 weeks. When I crossed back into Mexico I had $38 US dollars to get back to Minnesota on. I took a second class train all through Mexico. Then I hitchhiked from El Paso, TX back to Minnesota and still had $10 when I arrived in Minneapolis. That was 27 yrs ago ha! Really though I think you can go low budget and do a lot if you put your heart to it. Just my amateur view! Hasta Luego!
I love this show ,watch it faithfully. They don’t teach most this stuff in schools anymore.I love it when he gets so excited when something is found.I don’t see where he gets credit for finding stuff unless he dug it up himself.I love hearing about the history and learning about new information they discovered. I enjoy the traveling places I will never see or hear about otherwise .His shows are about practically everything and you learn about old and newly discovered information. So kudos to Josh.
Unfortunately Richard Hansen is a terrible Mormon businessman who is getting American tax payers and lobbying the Guatemalan government for a privatized tourist train. Yes, but public knowledge is key to humanity understanding the truth of the world. Religious beliefs are just ancient ideas of how things work, in a time without scientific knowledge. We must learn from, and respect our past! Then we can fully understand who we are and where we come from.

Josh Gates is my Hero !
The most popular shows 😘
iv got a fever, and the only cure is more extremely loud orchestra that makes it difficult to hear people talk in a video about historic discoveries
DESDE ARGENTINA, SOMOS FAMILIA DE CIENTÍFICOS, DE HECHO MI HIJA MAYOR ES PRIMERO LICENCIADA Y LUEGO DOCTORA EN BIOLÓGICA, SU ALMA MATER ES FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS EXACTAS Y NATURALES, UBA. LA MISMA QUE EL PREMIO NOBEL MILSTEIN, CÉSAR EN CIENCIAS QUÍMICAS. EN EXACTAS TAMBIÉN ESTUDIÉ YO CIENCIAS QUÍMICAS, PERO CON UN MATRIMONIO DE CUATRO AÑOS VINO MI PRIMOGÉNITA Y ME DEDIQUE A MIS HIJAS. POR ESO CREO QUE TENGO UN POQUITO DE CONOCIMIENTO CIENTÍFICO PARA OPINAR HUMILDEMENTE QUE JOSH GATES ES UN GRAN DIVULGADOR CIENTÍFICO Y ES REALMENTE UNA PENA QUE NO SE PASE EN ARGENTINA.
In their rush to glory both men risked destroying those precious artifacts.
It seems that way but its the magic of the camera. Between when they first show Josh "the pit" and when he goes back in after they cleared it out better was probably a full day or two. They have to go down evenly across that excavation area a couple inches at a time and stop to record every layer.
Lol it’s been buried for a thousand years under dirt and rock need to protect it with foam
