  • This was such a fun flight to be a part of. It was so cool to fly two Grumman built amphibians in formation and land and take off from the water in formation as well.
    Scott Urschel and Bruce Haffner shot some amazing footage from the museum's Long Ranger helicopter with a very nice camera on the nose.

    I am impressed how well the helicopter positioned himself to keep out of each others wake turbulence while getting the great shots.

    Flying an albatross is a serious bucket list item for me. At this point I'd take riding in one! Dream airplane like you wouldn't believe.

      Talk about flashback/goosebumps....I ew radio on the Albatross from 2/64 to 8/66 flying out of Naha, Okinawa...and life was good!! Great film. Thanks for the 50+ years trip to the past.

    My husband flew these in the Navy, off of Guam, during Vietnam. JATO take offs were interesting.
