Hardly will a Nigerian lady cheat and confess on her own volition. This is almost impossible in Nigeria. I believe she confessed because she was in deep mess.
I don't believe she confessed to her husband because she was remorseful. The confession might be as a result of her lover threatening to expose her if she stopped sleeping with him. Consequently, she decided to tell her husband first instead of the husband getting the info from other sources. To me,this means that this woman has slept with this guy multiple times. She was kind of being blackmailed. She was messed up to the extent that she had no other options than to confess to her husband.
