I have long believed that properties left to rot should be council property and able to be demolished, there are many that pose a danger to passers by if only they knew it. Notarianis will be delighted that the eyesore has gone and so shall all retailers in that area. The reason planning permission is so slow is because things like rolling shutters have to be sanctioned, tying time up for people like the owner of ex-Hartes who has waited for so long.
