An extraordinary pearl, the whole album, my constant companion since my teenage years - what a great art. So easy to be distracted from the sober everyday life by this music.
One of the geniuses of German Baroque Music Holy Trinity, together with Bach and Handel, Georg Philipp Telemann.
Muy buen concierto. Telemann gran compositor de todos los tiempos. El oboe fluye y fluye qué bien
Telemann created the sweetest music, especially for oboes! @12:20 - 12:32: such a beautiful marriage of harpsichord, strings and oboe!
Love this! I've listened to the Holliger interpretation but I prefer this more sedate and melancholy version. I can just visalize ladies in their beautiful hooped dresses dancing to this. Wonderful.
The first movement andante is Amazing, very beautiful. - El primer movimiento andante es increíble.
transcendent.
I have been knowing and loving this since more than 30 years, when I bought the original record (still have it) in Zwickau, where Robert Schumann and the Trabant comes from. What a feeling - supernatural, not from this world. img.discogs.com/-38qsjNyf_UaOnZnw-P55sqECIo=/fit-in/400x400/filters:strip_icc():format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(90)/discogs-images/R-6883899-1459617747-7428.jpeg.jpg

Beautiful. Sublime! I dare you to feel stressed out after hearing this. xx
¡Excepcional!
Nádherné!
Thanks!
very nice
Rich bass, hugely emotional, moving and gorgeous. However I don't believe this was the baroque style. There is another version of this under G. P. Telemann: Oboe Concerto in E Minor (Han de Vries/Musica Alma Amsterdam).
It's twice as fast, and strangely enough, just as beautiful, and more what I consider to be the correct baroque style and timing.
I personally prefer this slower andante version
Sorry, no way back to this. All wrong (if you listen to the strings at the beginning).
Having grown up listening to Holliger's version of this concerto, this one seems really really under-tempo.
