The amount of people saying he wouldn't even qualify had me laughing
In a Mclaren Chevy? Lmao
@@supertornadogun1690You don’t know much about Indy car.
@@supertornadogun1690 Congratulations being a dummy
No doubt right
I haven’t seen 1 say that
Must be off youtube
Kyle Larson is a young Tony Stewart. He can drive anything on 4 wheels.
Thats why Tony Stewart wanted him to drive his car in cup, but Ford wouldnt let Tony sign him.
@@rocketeer9Ford: Failure On Racing Development
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YTthat’s why they only got one win in NASCAR this year
He's better than Tony.
When he goes back and drives his cup thats gonna be a weird speed difference feeling lol. 240 mph down to below 200 at most tracks in a cup car.
Kyle Larson might be the first American driver to prove he can win driving in any series he races with since Mario Andretti.
AJ Foit also.. Dayton 500 4 Indy 500 and a 24 hour lamon. Plus many midget and champ car victories..
@@KenNickelsonIt's Foyt not foit, also it's LeMans not lamon
Facts ive seen tony when i was kid racing dirt track and then nascar now larson is murdering the dirt and nascar now hes p6 so far for the 500
Mario is a naturalized American. He was born in a part ofv the Kingdom of Italy that is now Croatia. AJ Foyt and Tony Stewart are the 2 born Americans that could make anything go fast...and I'm going to see smoke win an NHRA championship!
@@realisticallyspeaking565 I was straight A’s in spelling, yet I understood the comment. I can’t stand the type of people who make up the “Spelling Police”.
Jeff Gordon recording in landscape like the legend he is. Absolute class above there, none of that portrait filth plaguing media today.
"Yung Money" getting it done...
🔥🏎️
240 mph into turn 3??? Good Lord
Rip robbin miller
Larson is living Gordon's dream and I'm here for it
We will be in turn 2 for the 500, pushing him on!!!!!
So right. LOVE IT. EVERY MINUTE.
240 mph is a world apart from 190. Amazing job, he's definitely got the stuff.
Yeah, but NASCAR cup cars don't exactly have the handling that the Indy cars have.
I feel so privileged to witness one of the greatest drivers in my lifetime of 60 yrs......
You should get out more.
I agree. Very good behind the wheel.
@@guybeingaguyOther than Foyt, Earnhardt, Senna, or Andretti, I don’t know many better.
How cool would it be to have Kyle finish in top 5 for both races
KYLE LARSON!!!
YOUNG MONEY 17
He's got a real shot at this thing. And for the first time in about 5 years I will actually be able to watch the whole thing
I got to nap in the middle of the races somewhere, just getting to old.😅
Jeff Gordon should have done this in his prime
I totally 2nd this
I 3rd this
I'll 4th it!
Hendrick didn't allow his drivers to race in others series back in those days, a strict Nascar-only policy. Hendrick had to change that rule when he signed Larson.
That's how good Larson is, Hendrick was forced to get rid of is long-standing rule just to get him signed. It led to Bowman getting injured in a sprint car wreck last year but it was worth it just to get Larson.
JG was a good NASCAR driver but not here, look at JJ he couldn't get the hang of Indy.
He's doing the Young Money 1100
Me: they’re glazing Larson too much.
Larson: Hold my beer.
Larson just has 'it'.
You betcha!! That’s whatcha call putting it in the show! Great moment for grass roots racing fans all over the country!👍🏻😎
This guy is next level, I was never a huge fan before, like I respected his skills but he wasn't one of my guys you know, but Dam!
Me too man, and the most curious was the redemption of Larson career
Nice job. Those speeds are amazing. From a technical point, it would be interesting to see some data from accelerometers place in the car for how much side load is being exerted on the car while cornering.
this man can drive ANYTHING with wheels and i'm all for it
Nothing but respect for Kyle Larson.
Wow great job.. that kid can wheel a race car !!
And that's why I went from a JJ fan to a Larson fan don't get me wrong im still a JJ fan but Larson is a missle in whatever he drives
Why would you cheer for JJ Yeley he didn’t do much with his career lol jk. Yeah I Larson is quite a talent
for me I was fully on board when he went sprint car racing, I cant remember the track, but sat the track record the first time he went out. Dude can wheel anything.
JJ Yeley is the goat
@@Wisconsin222 I was meaning Jimmie Johnson but maybe I should have clarified that lol
@@MercilessMe he's gonna be a threat next week for how fast he is right now he has a legit chance to win this thing
If it’s got wheels and an engine Kyle can make it go fast. Excellent run from the rookie
Kyle is in his prime for sure.
Thats why hes going bald

He ain't scared. 😎
He raced Sprint cars that are basically Indycars on dirt
Larson is like Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart.
Can pretty much drive any race car.
Robby Gordon was another driver who was competitive in anything he ran. Mario Andretti ran in F1, Nascar and Indycar.
Kyle Busch doesn’t have a lot of driving experience outside of NASCAR. A few midget races but nothing special.
Or likw AJ Foyt or Frankie Schneider
@@user-lr5bo3ip8iHe also ran IMSA and late models.
232.563 Avg mind blowing
I'll be in the stands next Sunday for my first ever Indy 500. I'm hoping to see history made with a Larson victory. Show those open wheel drivers how talented NASCAR drivers are!
Atta boy Larson!!
YES!!!!!!
Kyle is unbelievable!!!! Robin Miller would be just as amazed as we are!!!!
He’s going to win, that’s my prediction. Man can do anything in a race car, I swear. Dont count him out
I think he will be top 10 if his car holds up.
Straight Money!
He is A super star, can drive anything
Truly the best of his generation. Awesome to witness.
He belongs on the same list as Clark, Andretti, Foyt and Stewart.
Kyle Larson is the first driver to get me really interested in racing since Big E passed away.....who was the Greatest Champion ever to win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
If he wins he'll be GOATED🎉
He won’t
Neither will you
@@brucemerryman7365
There's every chance
@@brucemerryman7365 You never know. Indy is a crazy place.
@@brucemerryman7365 If Kurt Busch can finish 6th, Larson for sure has a legitimate shot at winning it.
As great as Kurt Busch was, I don't think anybody would argue that Larson is more talented than Kurt.

Big time stoked for next Sunday, I’ll be cheering in turn 1 for Larson.
SWV section 18 for me. I can't wait.

Norcal drivers! Dont forget Alexander Rossi! Now Larson! Lets go!!!
Young money gonna blister the field next Sunday
THANK YOU JESUS !
Lar-SON!
R.I.P. RobinMiller
You can tell Jeff Gordon always wanted to do this
He is by far one of the best drivers out there today. He definitely has a talent that hasn’t been matched.
just have a safe run
Combination of Kanaan and Larson - two of my favorite racers....Wow!!
Jimmie topped speed charts during Indy practices and qualified great as well..come race time whole nother story. Nobody should be surprised by Larson's speed at this point. I'll be interested in what happens race day.
The goat
Hes a born wheelman for sure 😊
LETS GO LARSON!!
in 2014 Jeff Gordon was my favorite driver, and I saw a race at Kansas in 2014 and saw the 42 car almost win.
Best seat of the pants driver on the planet!
Larson is truly a generational driver and yes I too would have loved Robin Miller to be here with us today to Kyle race at the Brickyard in an Indy Car
240 mph! Jeez! Go Kyle!
Whoever said Kyle couldn't drive everything hasn't seen him drive. He's not my favorite but he can drive.
Kyle can drive anything and drive it at world class level.
TK looks the business on the pit wall. Love to see it.
O yell congratulations
Generational talent ‼️ 👍👍🏁
LET'S GO 🔥😎
Get some Kyle!!
He was at the dirt race in Brownstown, Indiana last year.
The Indiana Icebreaker?

This dude is for real no cap.

Yung Money gave me chill bumps AGAIN!!! Incredibly talented, over the top in anything he races!!!
Love this Racer! 💙🏁💛
Who is Yung?
Attaboy "Wheel Man"!!

Man he really is incredible
Being fast in qualifying trim is one thing. Hopefully he will be there, in contention for the final laps. It's incredible to see what he can do behind the wheel.

God bless him🙏🏻What a driver of all things that can be driven!
What a field of drivers!
Hoping for this to be one of the greatest INDY 500'S!

No one said anything but he did hit 243 at one point. 0:35
It would be crazy if he won, if anyone could do it, it would be Kyle Larson kid can drive for real
Kyle Larson will be the show
Go get them kyle
Kyle Larson is as close to Tony Stewart or AJ Foyt that we have seen. Whether it is dirt, NASCAR, or open wheel he just plain seems to be able to strap himself in and drive it.
Way to go Kyle
Love seeing nascar represented. Some of the best drivers in the world.
EXCELLENT
HE CAN DRIVE
go get it kyle
MR.H is a real judge of talent Young Money has paid off in spades!!!😎
He is the best pure racer in America.
Nice. Let’s see how it goes with traffic.
He's been running with traffic all week 😁
He drives 200 laps at 200 MPH in a pack of 30+ cars at Talladega and Daytona
Pretty sure he'll be fine
@@nathanakers45 Nascar traffic and Indy traffic is a very different though. With Indy cars you get really bad aero push with traffic.
Sure, but after Lap 1 he'll be fighting the one or two cars in front of him or defending the car or two behind him. That's less to process than being in the middle of a 3-wide pack for an hour. He can plan and react easier.
Not saying Indy traffic will be easy but Larson is not gonna be freaked out by it.
@@Corky3Dit's still traffic
Kyle Larson has a legitimate chance to win the Indy 500…now that he is qualified the other drivers better watch out because they have never seen his talent before
The young man can drive he's proven that and that car is fast
I love that Kyle Larson. He’s a brilliant race car driver and I really believe in nice guy.
The one thing I watched from that run the car looked stout and dialed in. Definitely can win next Sunday.
