    Praise the Lord for crockpots! Lexi is a great helper and it's encouraging to see parents include their children in the day to day chores. It's so important for kids to learn and to foster relationships with their parents.

    Hello there sweetie, i am binge watching the videos I have missed like 7 months worth😊. I have made meat loaf in the crock pot for years now. I have a suggestion for you , in stead of leting your meatloaf setting in all that grease and broth, Get yourself a box of foil and make a snake like tube , make it pretty thick and make a spiral for the bottom of your crock pot and spray it will cooking spray and set your meatloaf on it , it will keep your meatloaf out of all of that stuff and it is sort of healthier since it isn't sitting in the grease . My hubby found some round stainless steel trivets and I use them to hold my meatloaf up and out of the way at a yardsale and I love how they work. I Love my crock pots I have two and may need anither one soon, my oldest is older then my son because I was pregnant when we were at a community yard sale , it was at the end of the day and a older couple were just about to close up when I seen it sitting by it's lonesome and my hubbby got out( I had to stay in the car ecause I was a hugh risk pregnancy at the time) and asked what they wanted for it and she said how much do you have and my hubby said 10.00 she said 8.00 and that was back in 94 and she said they had it for a few years and was gifted a new one. So I don't know how much longer this one will last, so maybe a new one is in the plans, 😅 Take care and sending gentle hugs and prayers for you all from Ephrata ❤🙏🤗😘

    Congrats on your loaves of bread!!! I was hoping to see what you do to store them. Do you save old bags from store bought loaves or wrap them in aluminum foil and freeze them or do they go too fast to freeze? I hear what you are saying about Lifewater. Sounds like such a worthwhile charity. That mini adirondack chair is ADORABLE! Love seeing Lexi getting such a thrill out of day to day life. She is soaking it in like a sponge. Life isn't fair. My husband, with the advanced cooking skills of making oatmeal, baked bread for the first time in his life. It turned out perfect. It looked just like mine. I thought of you and many other women who struggle with yeast dough... But maybe it's just God blessing him for doing his part while his wife is pregnant, nauseous and can't tolerate any food much less cooking.

    I too like Crockpot meals, but my family strongly dislikes them. I would rather make up a fresh meal in the morning and then have it ready at night. However, my kids say that my meals suck. They would rather have my daughter, Katie, make the dinner. 😢. So, I tend to use a lot of easy cook meals because Katie can't always cook. She's a busy high school student. Evidently cooking is not my best subject. Though I will be making Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners from scratch.
    I already use Blueland tablets for my toilets and for laundry. I like it.

    Eating those high fat "keto" recipes and also eating high carb meals like pumpkin chili with cornbread, etc is a fast way to gain excess body fat and wreak havoc on your body. The reason why people on keto/low carb diets do well with meals like that is because they're not piling it onto rice. That is mega unhealthy. If you aren't keto/low carb, don't both.

    I just ran across one of your vids today. I was intrigued, so I watched another vid. And I noticed something. Where is your Pennsylvania Dutch accent? I work for a Mennonite and 95% of our customers are Mennonites. I've yet to see a Mennonite toddler speak English.. I've just started watching some of your vids so maybe you've already made a vid on that. Danke

    • @speedbuggy7240
      @speedbuggy7240 7 місяців тому

      @@theMennoniteMom IMO you shouldn't hide it. Everyone Loves the Dutch accent... And that's a real shame that your husband and children don't know their heritage language. You do what you think is best. I'm not judging. I know if I came from a heritage background like native American Indian or something I'd want to know the language. I had a step-son that was 1/2 Cuban and I always encouraged him to learn Spanish. Just because that's his heritage. Do you have any vids where you speak Dutch or better yet teach Pa. Dutch? I spent a 1 1/2yrs in Germany while in the Army and fell in love with the language and the people. I took a Germany class in college, but still can't speak it fluid. IMO Pa. Dutch is to German as southern redneck talk is to American English. I want to start learning Pa. Dutch. Danke..

    Allowing little ones to sit on counters is unsanitary and dangerous It pnly has to have the little one fall once, hit thier head and spend the rest of your life regretting your actions because "it's so cute." Better safe than sorry.
