I flew Air Peace 3 weeks ago and my experience was nothing short of superb. There was 'good food' and drinks. Nothing was in short supply. The refreshment box was fully packed with plenty ietms. The economy seat has relatively good leg room. Check in and take off was timely. No in-flight entertainment but I had my book. The staff were helpful all the way. Amenities purse was a good one. And the touchdown was the smoothest I had experienced in a long time. That captain kept us engaged and bit of humour. It's a 10/10 for me. That semo and egusi was mad tasty!!!!!
I sense that this is the truest experience. I do not really watch the entertainment on planes anyway, I am more preoccupied with other thing like the plane's animation progress along the route which does not require earphones.
I flew Air Peace that same week and my only 2 issue were 1) that though I had pre-booked my seat turns out the aircraft itself was changed and so the pre-booked seats were a moot point and 2) there was only in flight entertainment for first class. The crew were professional and friendly. On my return leg both issues had been addressed but I found one of the crew members to be quite rude. Aside from that i enjoyed my trip and will be using them in future. They have only been flying this route for a year and so I give a thumbs up 👍🏾👍🏾 to Air Peace and wishing them many many more years of success and happy passengers
@bunmipsalm23 When u say a flight attendant was quite rude , please elaborate. Sometimes people would be making too many demands of the flight crew as if they are their maids. Then when some flight attendants set boundaries they may be perceived to be rude. I make a point of never unnecessarily requesting them to do extra work if I can manage without and always showing appreciation for their service.
Thanks for the valued information into this airline for those who have not tried it yet. I'm a subscriber yo your channel. Well done because I find it very useful and something to consider when I would need it.
Air Peace is the only airline that is challenging the excessive pricing of Asky Airlines (regional) and non-stop to London. Let’s all pray that Air Peace can get it together and meaningfully improve. I for one am happy with my Accra-Monrovia Air Peace flight. Come on Air Peace, we are cheering for you.
I feel Air Peace lacks the standards that most other Airlines have” However, they do bring competition to the situation and for that, I am very happy to see them compete. My hopes for them are that, they can improve in all areas they lack in now.
Flew with airpeace to the Uk in November, it was fantastic all the way. I never care for in-flight entertainment as I always have my tablet with my netflix shows downloaded.
Me my entertainment is watch the animation of the aeroplane's progress along the route.I have no need for earphones 😊😊. Besides it may simply be Airpeace policy to give headphones only for those who request it idk .
I will be flying to Lagos from London in March 2025 and had the choice of AirPeace, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways. I actually wanted to go the AirPeace Way but upon reading reviews that there are no charging sockets on the two 777 aircrafts in Economy, I decided to book Virgin Atlantic as they were even £70 cheaper than the other two options. Also, as an aviation geek, I find the cabin on AirPeace to be rather too outdated compared to the 787s of BA and the A350-1K of VA that fly to Lagos. Moreso, Heathrow is closer to my home in London and the choice of flying from Gatwick was a disadvantage for AirPeace. I’ll definitely love to fly them someday as it is our own. Nice flight review by the way.
So a mere lack of charging point is enough to change your loyalty from your own country's airline? Having to deal with the lack of respect you get from rejecting your own country's airline cannot be worth it even if you save a little money and have a charging point (which is non issue because you can ask the flight crew to assist if it is urgent or you remember to charge your devices before the flight or even after alighting.
@proyouservicesltd3652 for an aviation geek like myself, you will not understand why I took such a decision based on the fact that I will be reviewing the flight as well. I will be doing about 6 local flights while in Nigeria and AirPeace is my top priority. I will be comparing them to the likes of Ibom Air and XE Jet while in Nigeria. And remember I said I chose to fly VA simply because Heathrow is super close to my home in London. And I flew BA a few months ago. Trust me, I do not take my national loyalty for granted.
@@MrPlanes702 Even Heathrow being closer to your home, should not be reason enough not to use Airpeace, remember that if Airpeace had not been patriotic to enter the route and crash the price of flights, VA would have charged you twice the price Airpeace is charging for the flight!
@@proyouservicesltd3652 I have read most of your comments, and I would say you sound forceful and ignorant really. Firstly, Air peace is not a nationality carrier, Air peace is privately owned so no Nigerian should be made to feel obliged to book it. 2) Yes, have charging is paramount on a long haul flights. Lagos London route is over 6 hour's flight timw and considering the check-in and waiting time at the airport, it is a day journey. 3) Air peace has not crashed the price if you compare it with what was charged a year before. Personally, I dont like taking an old aircrafts. The two Air peace 777 aircrafts are old. So it is not just the socket issue but the entire cabin experience. As the other commenter said, Virgin is even cheaper which is shocking as Virgin uses A350- 1000, which is a modern and newer aircrafts, on same route. Air peace has constantly have delays from Gatwick and they need to sort it soonest as passengers dont like delays. If Air peace suspect a frustration as you claimed, then they can sue the Gatwick management .
If you enter the dreamliner 787-10, you will not want to enter any aircraft again. I took BA 787-10 to Lagos in April, omo, it was the best aircrafts I have ever entered so far. Coincidentally, the same plane G-ZBLF is on route to Lagos today . I also took Air france's A350 in September to Lagos as well and it was good also, although not as great as the dreamliner (787-10).
I flew royal air maroc to Nigeria from Spain and there was a charging system in the aircraft, Nigerians complain too much and we can't produce toothpicks, take it easy with air peace
@JehovahNissi-z6g I think you mean to say that Air Maroc also use planes with no charging system. It is a bit of a non-issue because the airlines that have them are usually charging far more than Airpeace. Also if you really need a device charged a Flight attendant may be willing to assist you.
Entertainment was available , I think the issue may have been because Funke was unable to find her earphones and she did not say she notified a Flight Attendant. Perhaps if she had informed a flight attendant , they may have gave her a set.
Even Heathrow being closer to your home, should not be reason enough not to use Airpeace, remember that if Airpeace had not been patriotic to enter the route and crash the price of flights, other foreign airlines would have charged you twice the price Airpeace is charging for flights.
Personally, I haven't flown direct to/from London with BA or Virgin in nearly eight years because their prices were too high. I’ve always preferred Air France and Lufthansa for their better pricing. Ultimately, price is the deciding factor. Sentiment aside, it’s clear that Air Peace's unique selling point should be its pricing. Patriotism alone won't be enough to drive demand-most Nigerians prioritize cost over national pride.
We are not thinking strategically or long term, price is not everything , it was Airpeace that crashed the prices you are now seeing offered so they deserve our patronage for that reason alone. If VA is a little cheaper than Airpeace, it is only because they trying force Airpeace out of business after which they would double or triple the prices again like they were charging before Airpeace entered the route and crashed prices.
Air Peace will always be my favourite for reasons of local food menu and patriotism. Air Peace needs to be appreciated for helping air passengers and travellers in Nigeria get the benefit of cheaper flight fares to their overseas destination. Even if it has certain shortcomings now, the airline's services will improve with time. "Rome was never built in a day".
Exactly many passengers do not appreciate Airpeace is the reason that fares are not at least double the price that airlines are currently charging for the route. So even if another airline under-prices Airpeace we should still go with Airpeace for being responsible for saving us hundreds of pounds sterling on the route, , not to talk of patriotism, and helping keep Nigerians employed.
As a nation we set very low standards for ourselves and we get lowe than even that. There is no reason why Air Peace should not be able to operate to a standard other international airlines do. It's as if our mentality is to expect inferior everything from Nigerians as if we can do no better.
In this age of UA-cam and social media, everyone’s experience or feeling becomes self published international news. I have personally gone through even more frustrating experiences at the hands of foreign airlines but I guess, I couldn’t shoot videos to tell the world about them. Note that airlines do hand out evaluation forms to passengers on board to assess them. It may be that YT video assessments are a preferred method for some people now as they make them steal the spotlight from all other passengers on their particular flight. It is what it is.
In fact this was a great review Airpeace performed perfectly any negatives were either too minor to be an issue or they were outside of Airpeace control (e.g. fault of Airport staff and not Airpeace staff)
It would have been nice if you informed us what time eventually the flight took off from Gatwick airport and what time it landed in Lagos pls. A good review nonetheless 👌
@@gachaturtle637 Because all the reasons for the delay was the responsibility of Gatwick Airport staff and not Airpeace staff. Airpeace are frequently late in Gatwick because of Airport staff, but in Lagos they are almost always on time.
Now that Minister Keyamo has fought tooth and nail to help deliver this lucrative route, I hope that they will provide a product and service that justifies all that effort and the loyalty that Nigerians are prepared to show the airline. Judging by their performance here at home and the reviews so far, I am not convinced that they will deliver best in class. If this was BA or any of the other airlines that fly this same route gave you the exact same service, I bet your tone would be different.
You would probably be denied (if they noticed it). They would refer you to the Nigerian High Commission to either extend, renew or get a travel document.
😂😂😂you are welcome to the experience. I have added oversize objects to my lugage in the past,by simply shrink-wrapping. I had done likewise to bring 2 separate bags that doesnt fit inside each other that way. To the cost of Uber or train ticket. Is it not cheaper to rent a car and drop off at the Airport/ fly. This is very cheap and convenient in Europe. You can hire even a Bus to accomodate more passengers and luggages
For airpeace we have 2 777-300 named ojochide and anuli peggi onyema but the only one thats operatong is the anuli peggy onyema they also have a 777-200 which i forgot the name of but anuli and the 777 200 are Operating foights to london exclusively. i dont know what happened to ojochide ,it has just been sitting next to one of the E gates at lagos
No headphones not that there was no entertainment and it might just have been that passengers who needed them had to request them from a flight attendant.
@@proyouservicesltd3652 So therefore, no headphones means no entertainment. Passengers should not be requesting headphones when that's a standard service.
@@ChuksReal I also flew BA from London to the States with my mum who had a bad back. We went straight to the first check in desk right in front of us as we came in through the doors. It was economy and we didn't care but it was empty as my mum needed to sit down right away. Rude BA staff even said that if we knew how to fly first class, we'd be at the first class check in desk and I said to her, my mum needed to sit down and regardless of our first class tickets it's still a BA check in desk and we should all be treated with the same respect. I was looking at her badge when she asked "what, are you going to report me?" And I said, oh yeah definitely, as soon as I was done with our suitcases and sorting my mum's comfort out, I'm definitely coming back to make a formal complaint. I did just that and found her manager, he definitely confirmed that she was out of place and should treat all passengers with respect. Compensated us with avios points every time we travel through T5. Don't just take whatever service you're given. Raise a formal complaint where you can. Have your evidence and have the staff's name as well. Remember that you're paying for the service and not begging for the service or at their mercy. They're not doing you a favour. Without your money, they won't be able to function as a business.
I travelled with Airpeace on 23rd October, returned on the 13th November....the claims that they are using a modern aircraft and charge lower price is false...the aircraft that was in use for the two trips (5N-BVE) was a 24 years old aircraft purchased from Emirates airline,no usb ports, the tv screen not working, very old seat covers...the lady in charge of operation at Gatwick was rude when one of the hostess informed her that I was taking a selfie in my seat.. do i not have the right to take selfie? The experience on the return trip was not different with weighing scale at boarding gate..i had to show the receipt and a lot of explanations before being allowed to carry items bought at duty free. NB I have all the right to review Airpeace airline.... all tribal bigots should stay away from commenting on my post...i used my hard earned money to buy the tickets and flew Airpeace to support the airline,i am fuly entitled to give an opinion on what I see as a negative on services provided which is not up to my expectations.
So lack of usb port, seat covers and not being allowed to take selfies are your only complaint . Every other airlines have similar issues. So be calming down .
You’re asking for trouble. Your Citizenship isn’t expired but your travel document has. Go to the Nigerian High Commission and get a one time use Travel Document Better safe than sorry
Thank you for this reviews. I have been watching your tips. Planning a trip to Nigeria next year using Air peace, I hope it will be a peaceful experience. May I ask please if you or anyone who's board air please before can recommend a window seat. I have currently choose seat 21A but not sure if that would be a window seat or just a wall. I see that your seat here is a window seat but it's 33, which seem quite far back. I would like to know if the 21 roll have chosen is a window seat. All responses will be well appreciated. Thanks in advance 🙏🏾
Africa has so much potential for developing its Aviation and Tourism sectors. To begin with, those African Countries requiring visas from Tier-1 passport holders need to stop looking at the money they make on selling visas and consider what they are loosing making the process so burdensome. At the very least, convert the formal visa, to a Visa on Arrival. In addition, African countries need to start implementing open skies agreements with each other. Africa is one of the only places in the world, that lacks a true Hub and spoke system, connecting all the major cities together!
I'm going to London next week with my family. I will never fly Air Peace. In March, 2024 my Mon flew with them and I paid, excitedly hoping to fly them this December, 2024. Not only is the aircraft old and wacky, they also F expensive like seriously. Air France, KLM, ET, Air Maroc and even Virgin Atlantic are cheaper. Like seriously? I've booked Virgin Atlantic already and I'm good with that. All the above airlines are by far better than Air Peace. But trust Nigerians to wimp in sentiment. If Dangote is selling fuel at ₦970 per liter and Total is selling ₦900 per litre, I will obey my account by buying from Total (french company) than from Dangote. Air Peace uses very old Boeing 777 and is more expensive than better airlines
Have a safe trip. One of the airlines you mentioned (air Maroc) is not better and their airplace are not better. The one my team used just in October from London was like what Nigerians will describe as Moluwe 😅, and they were not cheap either. Consider though that airpeace is less than a year on this route. Amd remember how they tried hard to frustrate them at their lunch/inaugural flight ? That frustration game from the bigger boys still hasn't stopped. And that i mean in the international front. For instance they are not really 100% in charge of boarding at gatwick, so there's not so much they can do about some of those complaints at boarding. If not why would they not turn the lights on to show people their boarding terminal. So unfair.
They are pretending to be cheaper because there is competition brought in by airpeace. So it's alright, kudos to airpeace. Now you can shop around. If it were not for airpeace, those your airlines were charging upto 3.5million Naira for a one way economy class.
Also no headphones on my first flight with them outbound to Lagos. The return flight was tainted by t hem refusing to let me carry an item even though it is not listed as prohibited in UK or AirPeace terms and conditions posted online. The staff said maybe it is in the ‘longer version’ of their T&Cs but she could not provide a link to the longer version. The whole experience soured the trip. Also flew their PH local route just this weekend and sadly they need a lot of improvements, e.g signage as well as staff at the beginning of the check in area to give information, start checking in early, other staff not constantly butting in while you are being checked in etc With heavy heart I’m back to Virgin Atlantic for now
People don't quite get it . This is all an attempt to frustrate the passengers and invariably frustrate airpeace out of business. Come to think of it, they hated airpeace for daring to take that route. God help us.
@Chrisugo you are right. You can only judge Airpeace based on the in-flight services, but anything with your boarding, delay in taxiing for take off, or luggage delayed in getting into the plane isn't handled by their staff.
I WILL NEVER USE AIR PEACE, MY SECOND EXPERIENCE WAS VERY BAD, MY AGE MUM AND I WERE STAVERED, IT WAS A STRESSFUL JOURNEY AS WE LOSS MY DAD, WE SLEPT OFF, WHEN WE WAKED UP WE REQUESTED FOR OUR BREAKFAST BUT THE AIR HOSTESS SAYS " NO FOOD OH. THE SAME AIR HOSTESS WAS STYLISHLY ASKING US " Mama And Aunty Wetin Una Bring For Me"
Sorry about your loss. But I think we should take it easy on this one and only airline we have as Nigerians flying UK to Nigeria. They are less than a year on this route, remember?. As for that staff...... hmmm that's wrong.
This is very possible on any other airline. You slept off, woke up after food has been served, to ask for your food, and they had none left. This is not enough to cancel Air Peace. RIP to your Dad. We have to be prepared to accept some hardship to patronize ours, otherwise we would never have our own airlines. All others that we fly did not attain their current level of service right from the beginning.
@@ChrisugoLess than a year on this UK route? Have they not been fighting for this route like forever and have they also not flown other international routes before they got the UK one, e.g routes to India and Jamaica?
@4evertrue830 Yes, they fought for it does not mean they will be perfect immediately. But in this case it's not really their fault that someone fell asleep. And we don't know the time between their waking up and when they food was served. When it comes to food hygiene, some food are not meant to stay over an hour after they've been served for health and safety reasons. Please let's calm down . Even BA, Virgin etc have their issues but because they speak queen's English, some of us won't complain.
Everyone wants to make content to get paid either on Tik Tok or UA-cam. I wonder what is wrong with Nigerians. For over how many years, Air France has been there, Laufthansa, Air Morocco, Ethiopian Airways, BA, none of you have made a review video on any of these airlines, immediately one eminent from your country, you guys quickly went to get camera tripod stand, phone and light to start talking rubbish. Pls stop this rubbish if u don't have any other thing to do with your life. Try Ethiopian Airways or Air Morocco, they will frustrate hail out of your life that u won't even remember your experience. This kind of video irritates me, Nothing. Pls Nigeria let us appreciate our own. Stop stupid criticism and nonsense reviews. Try reviewing the government run by your tribal uncle, what a nonsense fumming of accent. Speak like a normal Nigeria. Rubbish. nonsense and ingredients.
@@kinzoogbugo1891I wonder o. She reviews all major airlines flying to and from Nigeria. People will just open their mouths waaaaahhhhh. I bet he first know what’s called flight review.
The review was good and Airpeace gets a good rating. But we need to be patriotic because they are our own so even if not perfect we should continue to support them because that keeps our people employed.
There's really nothing scary here. The delay was not airpeace's doing but that of Gatwick Airport management because Gatwick is in charge of boarding . Things like turning on the light at the checking like other airlines was all down to Gatwick. It's all part of the strategy to frustrate and discourage customers and thereby frustrate airpeace out of the business space. They already see the airline as a threat to their business especially in Nigeria - London route. As regards the earpiece. The vlogger never said if she requested for one or not, as it might just be that the one on her seat wasn't available or misplaced. Not having a charhing pot is simply the design of the plane. Airpeace did not block the charging holes. Lets look carefully into this things before we make our decisions.
@Chrisugo Who told you it was all down to Gatwick management? This is how we always support bad management and governance, and never take any responsibility. Funke said the delay was due to baggage handling. This is not down to the management of Gatwick. This is down to baggage handlers and the ground team. It is the responsibility of air peace to ensure that things are done seamlessly and smoothly - please stop defending failure. Yes, air peace didn't design the plane, but air peace chose to buy an old plane and put it on a competitive route with BA and Virgin, who use newer planes with modern technology. Airphones are placed on individual seats. It is not what you request during flights. I believe Funke must have noticed that other people do not have earphones as well. Another thing is that air peace is not that cheap if you compare its economy class with BA and virgin. I wish Air peace success ✌️ and would want more airlines to join on the same route to smash the duopoly of BA and Virgin.
Air peace, is very disappointing, as a British Nigerian I tried to patronise, a Nigerian carrier ,the staff where very rude and u will be charged after passing duty free ,ur hand luggage would be weighed again, they extortion at the gate is horrendous 😢. Would never fly again
Nice one Sassy. I want to play devil's advocate here, could it be that you were allowed to come to the front of the queue the second time because they recognized you as a popular travel blogger?
People are so short memory that they can't even reflect on who the true criminals are . Other Airline were charging Nigerians as much a 3.5Million naira for an economy seat 1 way. Everything going on is very delebrate to frustrate Airpeace amd make it look unseroius, how can an airport not display an Airline boarding desk and take time to latch baggage, lastly delayed people because of push back truck, like the airport managers dont know when the plane will depart and have no schedule for a push back truck. Furthermore people saying all sort of shit, are you aware that the only Airpeace staff are few ground staff and cabin crew, the Airport staff has ground operational capacity and all these failures are just their fault. I rather my Nigerian brothers and sisters have a job on the skys than taking my money to some persons that have no regards for me. How many Nigerians do BA, Airfrance, KLM , air maroc employ. I just dint know why our people dont like to support their own
We said. But unfortunately Nigerians seem to have very short memories .You are absolutely on point. I think most of the vloggers should begin to look into what or who actually is behind this hickups that robs off negatively on airpeace .That most of this problems at Gatwick as regards airpeace are the airports fault not airpeace. It is as you called it, a strategy indeed to frustrate the passengers and the airline out of business.
You're not saying anything logical that helps your argument. If foreign airlines in Nigeria were charging millions of naira, you think there were no alternatives for Nigerians to travel out to the UK at a cheaper price?
@@4evertrue830 Please mention one of those alternatives. Foget about what I think, and give us that alternative that Nigerians were using that is more better and preferred than having airpeace.
@Chrisugo In the past, booking a flight to the UK from neighbouring countries like Ghana, Cameroon were the alternatives. These flights were far cheaper than flying direct from Nigeria on BA, Virgin Atlantic or, any other foreign airline at that time. This can be done through a search online using the appropriate Apps or, by a competent travel agency to help make it happen. Two of my brothers did it that way.
There is a rule that if an airline is consistently late taking off, the airport can cick them off the route. I believe that is Gatwick Airport ploy. Airpeace performed everything within their power professionally and competently and kept the passengers updated about the cause of the delays.
When passengers start to seek for alternative comfort then you’ll realise that passengers will re- patronise a product that will give them satisfaction or else they’ll seek for an alternative.
@@chrisola6460 which of the products out there has no issues ? Name one ? You might get earpiece and charging point and get treated like crap . A group used a maroc recently and said it was almost like jumping on Moluwa. If you're a Nigerian you know what i mean. They all have issues. God help airpeace and I pray they improve and get better with time. But remember when they are not responsible for boarding at Gatwick, so most of what the lady complained about was not their making. Also this other big airlines do not want any of our carriers whether it's airpeace or not. It's all part of the game to frustrate passengers and frustrate airpeace out of their space.
@ I get your point and we all want air peace to succeed. If we fail to tell our friends that has a smelly mouth the truth he or she might end up being disgraced from outside.
I said that the standard was not good and people said I was negative and unpatriotic. I told them I don't pay for a ticket to be patriotic but to get what I paid for other wise I might as well use another airline even if it's more expensive 🤷🏿♀️
You are the type that would later come and be complaining of how the other foreign airlines are mistreating you just because you are Black/African/Nigerian. Support our own because it keeps our people in employment if for no other reason.
People are not very sincere with air peace review. Maybe they're paid to give positive reviews. I took air peace November 18th to December 1st and I was really disappointed with almost everything about air peace . They're not ready for business yet , they only complain about other airlines and are not competing. I have the videos of what happed and the plane boarded . I will not take it in the future . I rather go back to virgin Atlantic or BA.
Guys, you guys should take it easy. Air peace havent even spent up to a year on this route. BA is not perfect either, and they do have their issues sometimes with delays, etc. Despite being in the business for God knows how long? . Take it easy. Of course, there is room for improvement, and we should make complaints, but we have to help airpeace or any other Nigerian airline doing that route now to succeed. Remember, the big boys in this business never wanted any Nigerian carrier. And air peace is not entirely responsible with the management of things at Gatwick. It's all part of the game to frustrate passengers and frustrate airpeace out of their business space. In terms of their pricing, yes, we must keep pointing that out because that was one of the reasons why we chose them.
@@ChrisugoYou don't get it. AirPeace, is an international rated airline and should provide international services. It is only proper to get professional consultants, from abroad if possible and on contract basis to be in charge of certain divisions of the airline, until Nigerians are fully trained to take over. Don't cut corners to save money.
Nigerians should learn by now this is international Aviation politics, they are trying to frustrate Air peace service on this route, how many times BA are late and the service is not really good this days me and partner travel through BA many times, we Nigerians do not talk about what we go through online may be we should complain more.
Honestly, the negative comments are way too negative. Obviously, there's room for improvement . At the end of the day, they're in this London Nigeria for less than a year .
I suspect they are paid by foreign airlines who want to discredit Airpeace. Even Funke did not help matter by nitpicking on minor issues and mentioning issues that were the fault of the airport and outside of Airpeace's control.
How is that Airpeace fault, the requested Heathrow but UK only offered Gatwick regardless there is not too much difference in travel time from central London between the 2 Airports
Sassy funke is clearly now a paid $ympathiser of Air Peace. I used to belive her reviews, but ever since she became a cheerleader for Air Peace, she has lost credibility in my eyes. Sorry to say.

You forget how Nigerians were suffering racism at the hands of foreign airlines. The only thing that would prevent me flying Airpeace is if they turn me away.
What an absolutely poor flight...I would never take that airline, can't even provide basic headphones. Patronism and quality needs to go hand in hand at this level, especially when you have offerings like Etihad, Emirates and even other African airlines blowing Air Peace out of the water
You must have watched a different review from the rest of us. Airpeace scored highly in my books! Earphones is a non issue must people hardly uses them. I don't need them because my only entertainment on flights is watching the animation of the aeroplane progress along the flight route.

However, they do bring competition to the situation and for that, I am very happy to see them compete. My hopes for them are that, they can improve in all areas they lack in now.
Flew with airpeace to the Uk in November, it was fantastic all the way. I never care for in-flight entertainment as I always have my tablet with my netflix shows downloaded.
Same here. Got my Netflix and Spotify downloads.
Will surely fly airpeace when it starts France route
Hi Sassy Funke, What happens if you buy a round trip ticket and only travel one way? Can you get a refund for the second leg of the flight?
My first time in Nigeria and we flew on Air Peace from Lagos to Asaba, no problem but to fly it out of Nigeria, heck no. I’m not playing those games.
I always have my over the ears corded headphones ready with me when I travel, I don't wait for the airlines to provide.
I flew royal air maroc to Nigeria from Spain and there was a charging system in the aircraft, Nigerians complain too much and we can't produce toothpicks, take it easy with air peace
Charging system is something to complain about on a long haul flight. It is a necessity.
@JehovahNissi-z6g I think you mean to say that Air Maroc also use planes with no charging system. It is a bit of a non-issue because the airlines that have them are usually charging far more than Airpeace. Also if you really need a device charged a Flight attendant may be willing to assist you.
I hope Air Peace will pt it right. The entertainment aspects. I hope they watch your videos, too.
Entertainment was available , I think the issue may have been because Funke was unable to find her earphones and she did not say she notified a Flight Attendant. Perhaps if she had informed a flight attendant , they may have gave her a set.
@@proyouservicesltd3652 To clarify so as to avoid confusion: they didn’t have any available to give on that particular flight.

Hi Sassy give regards to everyone 🎉❤
Lovely ❤❤
Even Heathrow being closer to your home, should not be reason enough not to use Airpeace, remember that if Airpeace had not been patriotic to enter the route and crash the price of flights, other foreign airlines would have charged you twice the price Airpeace is charging for flights.
Air peace is not that cheaper as you might think - have you compared the prices lately?
Thank you @@ay1ism
Content creators like Sassy Funke need clicks to remain relevant in the business.
Well spotted. We ended up taking off at 12:33pm which was 1hr 23min later than scheduled. and landed at 6:22pm Lagos time
@@SassyFunke The delay were the fault of the London Gatwick Airport and nothing Airpeace could have done about it.
@@proyouservicesltd3652How do you know this?
Since their inception, they have always had over an hour delay.
@@proyouservicesltd3652 how do you know this ? Air peace is frequently late to and from Lagos. Just accept they have internal issues.
But if you watched the review you should conclude that Airpeace was excellent and only very minor almost non-issues could be improved on.
BA iand virgin still better in terms of cabin age of aircraft seats abd amenities
Would they allow you to board with an expired Naija passport? Anyone knows?
You would probably be denied (if they noticed it). They would refer you to the Nigerian High Commission to either extend, renew or get a travel document.

It's a wonderful thing that Airpeace gives their aeroplanes African /Igbo names belonging to the owner's family members.
I think they should just name it after Nigerian cities
An international flight with no entertainment will be my worst night mare.
No headphones not that there was no entertainment and it might just have been that passengers who needed them had to request them from a flight attendant.
I flew BA from LHR to Doha, there was no headphones. I was just staring at the screen till I just had to turn off the screen.
@@proyouservicesltd3652 So therefore, no headphones means no entertainment. Passengers should not be requesting headphones when that's a standard service.
@@ChuksReal Yeah that's really bad. You can't count that as entertainment when you don't have headphones
So after all your experience I thought you will tell us that you just bought your own private jet.
NB
I have all the right to review Airpeace airline.... all tribal bigots should stay away from commenting on my post...i used my hard earned money to buy the tickets and flew Airpeace to support the airline,i am fuly entitled to give an opinion on what I see as a negative on services provided which is not up to my expectations.

Africa has so much potential for developing its Aviation and Tourism sectors.
To begin with, those African Countries requiring visas from
Tier-1 passport holders need to stop looking at the money they make on selling visas and consider what they are loosing making the process so burdensome. At the very least, convert the formal visa, to a Visa on Arrival.
In addition, African countries need to start implementing open skies agreements with each other.
Africa is one of the only places in the world, that lacks a true Hub and spoke system, connecting all the major cities together!
Bit confusing re hand luggage. So if I shop in duty free, will that count towards the 10kg weight for hand luggage?

Sis, how do you manage your family while you travel? Because i know your hubby lives in Canada and you live in uk and Nigeria, how?😅
I'm going to London next week with my family.
I agree your loyalty is to your pocket
Your hatred says is all by your name
Also flew their PH local route just this weekend and sadly they need a lot of improvements, e.g signage as well as staff at the beginning of the check in area to give information, start checking in early, other staff not constantly butting in while you are being checked in etc
With heavy heart I’m back to Virgin Atlantic for now

The basic issues you had are not airpeace fault though.

With your experience, it sounds scary to fly Air peace internationally. But I will try them outboard
Nothing scary about this review . Airpeace scored highly from what I can see.
I don't think so because it took a LOT of explaining before they agreed. My celebrity status shouldn't require that much 😂😂
People are so short memory that they can't even reflect on who the true criminals are .
No charging points and head phone stuff? (Nigeria factor)
With all that Minister Keyamo has done, hope Air peace won’t let him down.
No airline is perfect. This is probably a one off situation that could've been for some genuine reasons.
When passengers start to seek for alternative comfort then you’ll realise that passengers will re- patronise a product that will give them satisfaction or else they’ll seek for an alternative.

Sassy funke is clearly now a paid $ympathiser of Air Peace.
I used to belive her reviews, but ever since she became a cheerleader for Air Peace, she has lost credibility in my eyes.
Sorry to say.
Theres alot fake positive reviews for Air peace, even in this comments section
But Funke's review is also positive , so why would you call postive comments as fake? How many times have you use Airpeace on this route?
Alice? So they couldn't find a beta African name for their inflight mag? 🤦🏽♂️
Air peace is the worst
Wasted my time watching your blabbing and saying nothing after you tried to cut corners and break the rules with your forced fake accent 😂😂😂
@@VydeeAudor Sending blessings your way this Monday morning 😁🙏🏾
I have said I will not fly airpeace again, services is zero , no entertainment on board very boring flight. Better for people that just flying, air peace is a low low economy standard
@proyouservicesltd3652 Perhaps that's the only airline you've flown if it scores so highly in your view....I'm Nigerian and Its a nonsense on all levels from the check in to the whole flight...Is it because they served you pounded yam on the flight, thats why you are hype...Chill brother it's not all that...Check out some if the other flights and you will quickly see what I mean..Let's not be blinded by patriotism
It would have been nice if you informed us what time eventually the flight took off from Gatwick airport and what time it landed in Lagos pls.
A good review nonetheless 👌
If you watched the video you should know that the time of departure should be a non-issue in terms of this airline review because the delays were entirely due to the fault of the airport and out of the control of Airpeace.
