- Today I dive into Welsh alt rock band Stereophonics. "Dakota" is the lead single to their fifth studio album LANGUAGE. SEX. VIOLENCE. OTHER? released in February 2005. The single was the first (& to date) only Stereophonics tune to reach number one and the last to reach the top ten on the UK Singles Chart.
