Christmas decors were substituted with fruits and trumpets. 😀
In the Philippines, the New Year's tradition is to consume 13 round fruits, which is thought to be a lucky number. The round shape of a fruit resembles that of a coin, and the fruit's sweetness represents the promise of a happy life.
As for trumpets, according to common belief, the loud noise produced by it will drive away bad luck.

@@MunkyExplores In the west the # 13 is the only number I know of considered unlucky. In fact many hotels won't have a 13th floor because people will not use it so they just call it the 14th floor. Isn't that odd. I think China considers # 8 as lucky. more positive to have a lucky # over unlucky cheer's.
