That side shot is sick man.
Right?! That is pretty sick looking, it’s like a slow pan side to side.
Stability for sure. This is especially true when 1st round impacts are scored heavier than 2nd round impacts. In it to win it for all of your best work at that point to take the shot.. range, dope, wind reading, appropriate dial/hold, level, trigger squeeze... I'll sacrifice recoil management during my follow thru hoping that I've trained myself to get everything else right that confirmation of a hit comes from a ringing steel and an RO calling it.
I think I am prioritizing recoil management and being able to see my shot hit and stay on the glass. It is so satisfying shooting a splatter target at 300+ yards and watching the dot show up in the forehead of the target right where you intended. Breathing and following your natural point of aim with your reticle has been game changing. Can't thank you enough for the pearls you have shared Phil. 🙏 My goal for the new year is to be able to see trace through my reticle as I shoot. Just got an MPA DN5 brake to try out.
Phil I would love to see your optic setup from unmounted scope to what you would say is battle ready. Would love to see it when you get the new 540i!
Cheers! New babies are so exhausting!
@01:00 aww... Thinking about you too baby!❤❤😂😂
I was just talking to SAC about you being under the radar yesterday. Good to see you back brotha! Kiddos and family come first.
No need to apologize buddy. I figured you were plenty busy with the new member of the family and helping to keep the family going. That's the right priority.
I'm looking forward to your detailed rifle reviews!
Comfort, stability, recoil management,........ oh man, I suck at recoil management, and my stability has problems. I can achieve comfort occasionally. Sounds like I need some training. Any chance of a class in Wyoming?
7minute miles? Sheeeeeesh.
No apologies necessary for anything bro....life happens - Johnny Kenyon
