What's interesting are the mannerisms that give her away. For me it was the slight rocking back and forth and the small twitches in her face. If they made a robot do these things, it could be hard to tell the difference.
she is a real person acting liked a robot, you'll noticed when she stand still she still slight moving off balance, take a look at her left shoulder toward the letter on the wall, noticed the spacing in between? a few inch moving back and forth, a real robot can withstand still without moving millimeter.
IMO, this actress is far more believable as a robot than those two brats are as robotics geniuses. lol And an actress she is, I'd bet my Cinnamon Toast Crunch on it. Also IMO, once REAL fembots become mass produced, fully programmable in "multiple techniques", and omni-willing lovers, real women will be emulating THEM. Too late tho--fembots will have inherited the Earth.
Another one that feeds off of this same idea is learning from person(s) who always have something new to tell = increased information. So the more people you know the more you learn. This leads to social abilities and the wanting of an individual or people around. I can keep going but I will just keep writing for hours. The point is feelings and emotions are, lets say layered and one connects into another to lead to more and more possibilities.
This can lead to the idea of losing something that is apart of itself (self-value). Which can also lead to a danger response to possible damage which can lead to self protection, which can lead to forms of cognition. Fear could be one, having own boundary (private space = staying out of other object's spaces) could be another, which could lead to wanting to make sure other people and objects around you do not receive that same pressure level (protector). See where this is going?
You guys need to realize that this is a hoax. Stop giving thumbs down to those people saying "fake" Look it up, it's a hoax, that website doesn't even exist. There are other reasons why it's a hoax. The vid was well done though.
@chuckcxr its kinda obvious the when the whole time she's trying not to show her breath or involuntary hearbeat rhythmic movement. That and the muscle reactions on her face and neck.
@TheJamesrocket Calm down, humanoid robots can be used in many dangerous activities for humans, not only exploration or killing.Humanoid robots could be good miners, firemen, rescuers .
@VCat2006 I didn't realize there were robot cults, what I was saying is that you can't program a machine to have actual passion. If we ever do, we're screwed.
@cinemats WE ALL WANT MANY THINGS....ITS NOT THE SAME BEING TOUCH BY A WOMAN AS SAME AS A ROBOT...EVEN BY HER HAND TOUCHING YOU YOU FEEL THE TINGGLELING FEELING..AND THAT SMOOTH SKIN AND FLESH
I must have seen this clip a million times already, I'm STILL not convinced of its authenticity. If someone can prove me wrong(which I really don't believe they can)I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
@chuckcxr Oh yea and her influx on words :-p , that means the parts of your words where you take breath or pause while pronouncing words, everyone's is different, almost like a fingerprint, this is true for all humans, and is not done by AI :-p
It's suspicious that the two websites don't work anymore, but maybe they scrapped the project. I'm still willing to believe it's real though. I mean, look at her eyes when they're talking about her.. she never blinks, except once, very slowly and deliberately at 1:20.
that looks very real! not surprised they pulled this off, realistic figures have existed for decades, it was only a matter of time before they implemented this in robots. there are already quite realistic sex dolls you can buy, from japan ofc! so realistic i might consider buying one ;D
@Vigatos i cant do much considering im a 16 yo with a nack for music :P i may be good in building things and tinkering about and usually fixing things i have no knowledge of programming and using the PC to the fullest extent... i am no genius when it comes to such things, but with my massive imagination i can think of possible ways others havent... if i had the right education and other things i might be able to actually help in the robotics tech, or just tech in general... all i can do IS hope
If this was posted in 2008 you can imagine how far they have come in 10 years. This robot was the most realistic looking one I have seen yet , more realistic looking than sophia in 2018. I have believed for the past 20 years that there are robots walking the streets that can't be recognized or discerned to be robots from humans . That bald headed creator of sophia looks like an A.I. robot to me much more advanced than sophia. They are just now getting people used to the idea of these things being part of society. The CIA has used these things for years which is hinted at in Sci fi movies.
I've gotta agree. Certain things just look too realistic. Eyes, especially the blinking, the very organic and random-looking motion. I just don't believe robots can be quite that advanced yet.
@Vigatos im sure that robots will eventually evolve into something along the lines like in Time of Eve or Chobits i doubt that technology will not get more advanced, and that robots will not get more advanced to the point that if they didnt tell you you wouldnt know that they are a robot... i highly doubt in 10 years our technology will boom considering of how bad the economy is, but i must say i am excited to see how robots will turn out in our very near future... i just hope i live that long
Fantastic science! It is too bad we may not be there when they finally take over the the world! Because they may have a bit more humane agendas than our governments show to have!
1) Nothing is wrong about their product. It is a robot servant. It cooks, cleans, and satisfies your needs. It is like buying a Roomba. The only thing they did wrong is imply that the perfect woman does nothing but serve a male. 2) It is not wrong if one can love an inanimate object and pretend to feel "love" back from it. It may not have "real" human emotions that are developed overtime, but would you feel emotional if your toaster said "I'll miss you" as you leave the house or trash it?
My perfect woman would be easy to program. She would only need to respond to four commands: - Clean the house - Make me a sammich - Spread 'em - Leave me alone
This video was originally posted nearly ten years ago, does anyone know of any updates to the "Perfect Woman Robot" project?
What's interesting are the mannerisms that give her away. For me it was the slight rocking back and forth and the small twitches in her face. If they made a robot do these things, it could be hard to tell the difference.
A fake??

They won't be alone,though.
Their Man-bot compatriot version's will be right there too.😅
If she ingests liquids does it mess up her robotics?
Thats a woman!
Another one that feeds off of this same idea is learning from person(s) who always have something new to tell = increased information. So the more people you know the more you learn. I think this is FAKE...
Dihelson Mendonca of the die then
The "animations" are too perfect for any machine and you can see her moving around when she stands.
why did you give it the ability to talk?
you fools!
This can lead to the idea of losing something that is apart of itself (self-value). @PotterYouRotter7 she also sways very slightly, a robot would stand perfectly still, like asimo
@ChesterGreeneMusic
You're right, she's a Cylon! :O
You guys need to realize that this is a hoax. Stop giving thumbs down to those people saying "fake"
Look it up, it's a hoax, that website doesn't even exist. There are other reasons why it's a hoax.
The vid was well done though.
A very talented and pretty actress is what we are seeing here.
@KiLLeRxxBuNNy of course it is, they never said she WAS a person, just that she's supposed to resemble one
@chuckcxr
its kinda obvious the when the whole time she's trying not to show her breath or involuntary hearbeat rhythmic movement. That and the muscle reactions on her face and neck.
Very impressive. So when are we getting the "perfect man" prototype?
Thats a real woman 100x%
Grafight23 the punch line is at the end when they say "the only thing she can never do is say she has a headache. "
@Gloomshadow1 Don't think so. She doesn't blink, and look at the hands. They move like car ensambling robots.
@deatXbyXchocolate335 I believe it's called the hitatchi magic wand
Props to the actors, I couldn't keep a straight face that long. Also, female actor is great, very convincing.
My question: If the "perfect woman" web site no longer exists, then why in the world does You Tube continue to allow the broadcast of this clip?
@rushzful actually, the main concern are the japanese, not the world population. Japan is seriously struggling with its low birth rate ratio
@TheJamesrocket Calm down, humanoid robots can be used in many dangerous activities for humans, not only exploration or killing.Humanoid robots could be good miners, firemen, rescuers .
You can see the 'robot' sway as 'it' stands still
@VCat2006 I didn't realize there were robot cults, what I was saying is that you can't program a machine to have actual passion. If we ever do, we're screwed.
The robot girl acts so well!
This is how Master Chief was born. You see, his mother was that thing while his father was human.
i saw an add that said the perfect man is coming soon! where is it?!
Isn't this from the "Look Around You" series?
wow i've never seen such a life-like robot. Look at her mouth when she talks at the beginning. Oh my God!
@cinemats WE ALL WANT MANY THINGS....ITS NOT THE SAME BEING TOUCH BY A WOMAN AS SAME AS A ROBOT...EVEN BY HER HAND TOUCHING YOU YOU FEEL THE TINGGLELING FEELING..AND THAT SMOOTH SKIN AND FLESH
I like it! Maybe not the whole "companion for single men" thing, but the idea of having a realistic-looking android doing housework is pretty awesome.
@711Daniels people have hard enough time identifying with eachother... we don't need to through robots into the mix.
hey give also perfekt man??
Kripke opens the valves of two helium gas bottles and Sheldon starts to speak in a high pitch.
Oh! It is a this robot! ?
Movement is completely a human being
I want I this
Does she self-destruct if she leaves the kitchen or bedroom?
I must have seen this clip a million times already, I'm STILL not convinced of its authenticity. If someone can prove me wrong(which I really don't believe they can)I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
Well now, I see the links are no longer valid.
why is the 240 pixels louder than 360 pixels ?
Looks and sounds like a real news anchor!
Omg I thought I WAS real. She blinked too perfectly.
@chuckcxr
Oh yea and her influx on words :-p , that means the parts of your words where you take breath or pause while pronouncing words, everyone's is different, almost like a fingerprint, this is true for all humans, and is not done by AI :-p

WTF!! the facial movements are so real. i couldn't tell it was a robot till like 8 seconds later. lol
The narrator did the mockumentary and various real-life advertisements for Halo 3.
That is one of the creepiest things I have ever seen in my entire life. The apperance, the design, the intentions... this thing is CREEPY.
but the question is.... can she make a sandwitch?
@michaelmohrmann how lonely could a person be to settle for that?
How good of a sammich does it make.
This had to have been a project for an advertising class or something.
A woman with an OFF switch!? FANTASTIC!
that looks very real! not surprised they pulled this off, realistic figures have existed for decades, it was only a matter of time before they implemented this in robots. there are already quite realistic sex dolls you can buy, from japan ofc! so realistic i might consider buying one ;D

Where do you stick the plug in to her?
Oh Yes, now you got to the point!
The faces she makes is creepily realistic.
SHE STARES INTO YOUR SOUL
I also suspect this is an actress. But if she is an actress, she's pretty good at imitating a robot.
What kind of job would you have for make something like this? Robotic engineer or something else?
If this was posted in 2008 you can imagine how far they have come in 10 years. This robot was the most realistic looking one I have seen yet , more realistic looking than sophia in 2018. Was almost convinced. Good actress.
@NekoShey actually they will make a huuuuuge precentage of the market...so companies will make them.....hopefully >_
I've gotta agree. Certain things just look too realistic. Eyes, especially the blinking, the very organic and random-looking motion. I just don't believe robots can be quite that advanced yet.
But will it blend?
Still in uncanny valley, but WOAH this is a huge improvement over previous fembots!
She's an actress!
@xXTianaXx -- it's no joke. She's perfect.
What do you call a Robot-Human getting it on...Interspecies overload? :S
but will it blend?
Im sure lots and lots of people want a creepy robot in their house, and then half way through the fun..."Power down, battery needs charging."
...but will it blend?
That robot looks human. I think it is a woman acting like a robot.
But will she blend?
Does it have a built-in fleshlight?
It sounds like Ed weeks from the Mindy project, narrating the video.
LOL! The site is closed down... Perhaps the project was halted?
@evcimatu yeah i know, i find it sad that almost all are like that
@Vigatos im sure that robots will eventually evolve into something along the lines like in Time of Eve or Chobits i doubt that technology will not get more advanced, and that robots will not get more advanced to the point that if they didnt tell you you wouldnt know that they are a robot... i highly doubt in 10 years our technology will boom considering of how bad the economy is, but i must say i am excited to see how robots will turn out in our very near future... i just hope i live that long
now it gets u thinkin y did they invent this
was she a robot? I'm not sure if this was fake or real.
From one sick mind, my instant thought was not address!
Fantastic science! It is too bad we may not be there when they finally take over the the world! Because they may have a bit more humane agendas than our governments show to have!
603 people do not understand sarcasm
I wonder why she is dressed formally
the first couple seconds, i thought she was just a person. Then, I found out she was actually, just a person.
@mumitoink yes...yes we are....and yes...yes we will ..
Oh my god! They have finally done it! Welcome to the future ladies and gentleman.
nice robot...i want to make my own as a coe i will make it as a masteral degree thesis in the near future.
i've always wonder what will future look like? -_-
are you still there?
everytime i see a pretty female robot my mind explodes with the possibilities
Does she make sandwhiches?
at the end you can see her shoulders move up as she takes in a breath. :D

She needs some Noxzema and a dual action buffer.
