You mentioned Sale Creek, Tennessee... that is just down Highway 27 a piece from my home town of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, just down the valley formed by Walden Ridge. I also wanted to mention that your narrated videos like you do now are far and away more enjoyable than your earlier stuff. I never sawed a circle mill, always on a bandmill, but I've been around friends who have big circle mills for years and love it.
I think a little squirrel cage type fan like a portable Stanly on the floor on low pointed upwards would help immensely. I used them while trying to keep a skylight dry so masking tape would stick by putting them by the bottom of the ladder I stood on. My sweat would make a mist on the metal which negated tape from sticking and moving air helped a lot.

It's just impact protection. Fits Hero 9 through 12. That clamp mount holds very well. Things to purchase for the channel for the new year: An app on your phone to tell what the species of lumber is, its age by reading the growth rings, and a analog moisture meter ( they are far more accurate than the digital ones), and lastly, a board feet calculator showing how much each log is estimated to produce and how much it actually does produce. ( I used to work in the sawmill office and these are things I had to do by hand)

You cut your stackers out of these types of logs but you never mentioned where your stickers are produced from or how. I work with a band-mill and we go through tons of them. Or, do you not use much because you just flat-pack your lumber and not do much drying of the boards?

yes I have two fans in my cab but it takes a few minutes for the water to get hot off of the bus motor to make heat then all's good.

I thought you might cut that first log in half & saw it as short logs.
we got three 42" 4x4's out of it leaving it long.
