Oh... "Anansi"... I definitely misheard that and was concerned I had strayed into a concerning part of yt. Thanks for the video. As someone who loves making stuff and props and being a newly minted 3d printer, seeing the quality you're getting is exciting.
Same... i know one of the mando mercy locally from another pub and git interested, this is the first vid I see... Like woah, what am I getting into here
Most comments are about him wondering if he said "I'm a Nazi" in the beginning. Lol and I just came here to learn about Mandalorian helmets. :D wasn't expecting that, awesome stuff btw.
I’m really trying to start my own and get into MMCC. I’ve made chest armour and arm and shoulder armour. I’ve tried so many times with helmets I just can’t seem to do it . It’s stressing me out a lot I’m only 17 I spent most of my saved up money on this so far. Would you be able to make me a helmet and I pay you? Instead of wasting more money trying to make one when I’m just unable to atm with my skill level
Creating your own helmet can be challenging even for skilled builders. A lot of people *do* purchase a helmet and in the Mando Mercs forums under Trading Station > Mandalorian Supplies > Hawker's Row you can find some really good options. - Anansi
Yes, but it has to be modified rather heavily depending on which Hasbro helmet you're talking about. If you mean the Black Series one, it doesn't have to be modified as much but there's a few things like some gaps by the visor set in the face plate you'll need to fix, as for the old kid's toy one the largest issue is the visor, both are good bases with some work tho. Hope that helped.
I can't find it on the forum. I want to get started on a kit using a 3d printer. Is there am approved model section. What Is he saying ..it's not nazi.
Ive bought the jango helmet everything lines up and fits good except i have a large melon, and my chin sticks out. the same thing with the kids hasbro helmet, and finally i bought a cheap Chinese mandalorian helmet that's just to small all around to wear comfortably. So if i was to use the jango helmet as a base template how would i do that or what scale would i need to print the wizards templates to accommodate? Thanks in advance
There isn't any one way to properly scale a helmet but this tutorial from the MMCC forums might help: mandalorianmercs.org/forum/index.php?topic=153466.0
really wanted to buy one helmet and do my own mandalorian suit, would like it to be my own style but im a noob, and i dont have the materials or the tools to do it, or the time, so, does anyone know any store for cheap but good helmets or suit for my own mandalorian cosplay?
@@trivixni435 that's kind of my plan to make my own armor rn. I'm not sure what you could attach it with, maybe hot glue? But it's a good starting place
The problem with EVA is the fact that it’s not very durable and gets eaten away quickly. It’s not banned to be mean or pretentious, it’s because they don’t want people spending lots of time and money on a costume only for it to start falling apart quickly. It’s the same reason certain vendors that have been ruled to be generally disreputable are not approvable!
I’m making my own armor out of fibreglass but I’m not a part of the mercs (yet), will I be judged or anything by those in the mercs at all for having Mando armor but not being part of the mercs?

I knew I wasn't the only one
Ha ha same
I went back and listened to him say that line 3x and all I could think is why would he say he was a Nazi?
If he didn’t say that, what did he say?😅

Just about lost my mind when I thought you said “a nazi”
"Greetings Foundlings, I'm a nazi."
Oh man. I heard that so wrong.
What did he say?
@@michaelknight2897 His name is Anansi. I just misunderstood it the first time.
Ah yes Star wars Nazis

I'm currently working on my first kit. I went with Vacuum Formed from Kick the Bucket on the Merc forums.
Had to watch the intro twice 😶
Nice video

I went with a green acrylic sheet for my Boba Helmet
Can you use a modified Hasbro fett helmet?
Yes, but it has to be modified rather heavily depending on which Hasbro helmet you're talking about. Whats the Design from the black Helmet called? Looks so damn awesome!
The "black" helmet is the Stalker, medium sized, available from NME props.
@@GurreckClan thx :)
Any info on that last helmet... I love it!
It’s the mando stalker helmet from NME Props
same
Definitely gotta ask what type that black helmet on the far right (your left) is. The design speaks volumes to me
That is the NME Stalker helmet from NME Props.
Is the 3d print one the one off the merc forum?
No, the one in the video is an April Storm helmet - Anansi
I can't find it on the forum. I want to get started on a kit using a 3d printer. Is there am approved model section.
What Is he saying ..it's not nazi.
Man, I wish a had a 3D printer. I tried to make a carboard one but I not know how to make the cheekbones and the dome, so I made one without them.
stalkers look cool and dont normaly have cheek bones, and there is a ton of videos on how to make the dome

I've seen people use those cheap plastic buckets from Walmart/dollar store for plated armor sections
@@pigeon1178 well, never thinked of that

Galactic armory sells 3D printed mando armor sets I believe
Strip used damaged motorcycle helmets for padding. They also have com systems.
Com systems, all helmets do not have.
EVA Foam is not approved by club? Now I'm gonna cosplay Mandalorian armor with EVA Foam. Nobody can stop me.

lol cheap-ass bucket 🪣 is fine... foam is forbidden 😂 makes sense
It's just how rigid the material is
Jesus christ, I thought you opened up saying you were a "nazi". Considering I know about The Spider God I should have caught it. It is actually a pretty cool name.
i would pay you to have a set of this armor 100%
Are there different standards for different clans? Looking to join the colorado clan
The standards are the same across the entire club.
What about wood?
What about metal? Im almost done with mine and its all 16 gauge steel
Metal is also approved material. It's less common because it takes a skilled crafter, like you, to use it
My printer is large enough to not having to slice hehe ;)
"greetings clan, Im a nazi" wait what?
i know it was anansi, its called a joke
I bet your name has Put you in a lot of trouble xD
