I have a question: How do I move from the settings of the Viray to Corona without changing the materials because I suffer from this problem when switching between them, I need to modify all the materials?
If it's looking fake, you're likely overlooking an option. Perhaps you're not removing enough noise? Light balance issue? Incorrect material settings? A lot of reasons your scene could look "fake."
Daniel, Z Depth comes in handy when you need to add DOF in post-production 3rd party software like After Effects. Your render times are significantly reduced when you render out a Z-Depth for DOF and apply it in another program. Instead of using DOF inside 3ds Max. You could achieve some pretty good results when applied correctly.

Maybe if you want to add fog. We don't recommen it for dof ;)
