Really loved her in the production about King Louis, this story sounds similar character for her. Interesting to see her develop her character choices to be these really bright and remarkable persons. Since in Titanic and Holiday she was a secondary supportive roles. Not as appreciated for her work. I really am wonderfully surprised to find this today.
I love to listen Kate Winslet ..she's so deep, toughfull, smart, emocional , great actress. I realy love her.. this movie was a masterpiece with a amazing cast in special Kate and Saoirse with powerful chemistry, connection ,body language that no needs any words just looks , eyes that speak more anything..very touching, romantic , deep , full of details .Congrats Miss Winslet for this wonderful performance and Saoirse too. Josh seems a nice person and good actor and Francis great director.
It's been exactly a year today that I saw "God's Own Country" for the first time (I saw it again for the second time, months later) and since then not a single day has passed that I didn't think about it. Anything makes me remember it. I fell in love with the film in such a way that even the smallest detail makes me take me back to Frances Lee's debut feature. Sincerity, authenticity, proximity, symbolism, the ability to extract poetry from the crudest things, romanticism without sentimentality, silences full of words, the virtue to transmit the deepest emotions from the most absolute austerity, the fatalism that becomes hope and that floats in the environment and so many and so many other things. A masterpiece that comes to my memory constantly. I am looking forward to seeing "Ammonite". Hopefully I fall in love with it at least almost like I did with "God's Own Country". Congratulations to the team of both films.
I wish she at least gets nominated for Oscars....... Infact, she deserves another oscar now.... She was also snubbed in 2018 Oscars for wonder wheel, maybe because if me too movement n her collaboration with woody Allen that year..... But it's high time now......... And she should definitely get her 5th golden globe and 4th bafta awards

I didn't like Kate doing this movie. There's no need to act in every possible scenario... She never portrayed an academician, or a working girl, or a farmer. Only too girly topics around love of "all" kinds, and it can be disgusting.
