But he either would ignore my criticism or label me as a liberal or "cool dude" as he like to call anybody who disagrees with his point of view. I was hoping you would probably make this video addressing his limiting view of Sanatan Dharma. He said to others who called out his flawed criticism that they're Abhrahamising Santan Dharma, without realising he himself has started limiting or restricting what is acceptable in Santan Dharma. And that in itself is Abhrahamising, Abrahamic religions are the most restrictive that limit everything, whilst Sanatan Dharma says there are infinite ways to achieve anything. He missed that point so blatantly.

I saw his review too and I wanted to comment under his review ,my point of view which is totally different and obviously would have been ignored. Prathik talks about Jnana yoga is not everyone and he talks about tapasya. Sanatana dharma also talks about our previous births and tapasya from previous births too. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa goes into Samadhi state at the age of 8 years old when he was just playing. Why is Prathik looking at everyone with his own animie lens? Hastamalak, ( shankarachara's shishya ) starts reciting sanskrit shlokas suddenlly at the age of 6 whom everyone thought he was dumb. Even in today's context, the character with which we are born are through poorva janam's sanskar and karmic cycle or we can say tapasya too. When he compares Japanese animie, I wonder he was paid by them? What Japanese and south Korea he keeps referring to, who happen to embrace Christianity? Did he know, very few people wear their traditional dresses there? They are a lost cause and why should we learn tapasya from Japanese animie and Hollywood. I was so upset infact. Thanks for the review and I request everyone to be an independent thinker like you are. Kudos to you.

I think you are painting a false equivalence by comparing Kantara with the plot points of Hanuman movie. There are similarities in they way both the characters are morally questionable and their actions are not suitable for a conventional hero archetype.
However, Kantara does a great job with exposition and history building as to why this character is related to Guliga dev and how he was supposed to be doing the kola after his father. We see none of this in Hanuman, we are just presented the fact that Hanumantha got lucky as he was in the right place at the right time to get some powers from the crystal.
While we do get glimpses in Kantara throughout the movie that the deity itself has chosen Shiva as a medium to establish dharma, and this takes material form in the end when all seems lost.
That is why Kantara is far superior to Hanuman movie as far as the build up , story and screenplay is concerned.
The set up of Hanumantha getting the powers was indeed half baked and the writers could have made it better for sure.
While in Kantara it is the guarding deity itself that manifest itself through the medium of Shiva , in Hanuman movie, it is not clear as to what is happening, therefore it seems like a "chamatkaar" or are we to understand that the crystal transformed the energy of the sun into magical abilities. They could have explained it better for it to be palatable to nitpicky critics 😊
