After taking inspiration from Nyhmnim's Sealed-Only Yugioh series, I decide to make my own attempt at the challenge.

As much as I love the deck and how far it's gone since September, I would like to have it end at the Nationals and start anew for the next season with the new Master Rule being in effect. Would be interesting to see what other sealed deck you could make.

Gonna be honest, this series has inspired me to try sealed only too, might do it on a budget of £10 a week (so a bit more restricted) but update each month instead, therefore having £40 to work with.
Gonna start next month, just deciding on the structure deck to do it with, thanks for the series dude keep it up!

Shaddoll or Salad, I'd say.
Salad can be built on a relatively small budget. Just need 3x soulburner and 2-3x the structure deck with lady debug and flame bufferlo.
The rest depends on your luck with pulling cards though. Cynet minings might be hard. Salad might just fit your profile because both feature fire.
Do Salad. You can just buy them, buy structure decks for Lady Debug then buy Duel Overload for the main deck
Or he can do something bad with a limited budget for content such as the best structure deck being ODD-EYES lol

2:59 that's pure nostalgia for me. the song was part of a metin 2 video. i didn't know the song's name and just played that metin2 video over and over again lol. not as good as dearly beloved though

Personally I just like seeing good gameplay with commentary, and some insight into the deckbuilding process is nice. Continuing a single deck for so long seems like it damages the gimmick though; right now you've reached pretty close to a completely optimized deck and the only thing that's really going to change that is banlist changes, which leads to very little changing week to week and it really ends up more as "Dragon Link and Pack Openings" than "Live and Die by Konami's blessings". As I said, I don't mind just "Revz plays Dragon Link" but to me I think if the deck isn't being upgraded frequently then I would rather see a variety of optimized decks instead of just one optimized deck, or resetting the "From Scratch" to get more of that buildup back.
There are some compromise options as well, for example you could put the series on hold until tournaments start back up and have an intermission of other content while you're playing online anyway without needing to do From Scratch from scratch again, or you could keep going with the same cardpool but try to build additional decks for more variety.
Keep the series going till next year then start on a new deck from scratch, I really love your serious

Edit: I'd say stop at UK Nats. As much as I'd love to watch you at Euros, I highly doubt they'll leave Dragon Link untouched until then.

dragonlink can keep evolving, even without elpy it'll still have strong extenders & end boards
@@Marcusjnmc That's not the only issue though. We don't know how the meta will evolve and how impactful cards in upcoming sets might be.
I don't believe that Dragon Link will die if getting hit (depends on the hits as well) but I wouldn't be surprised if it couldn't keep up with whatever becomes meta until euros next year (and if we get that RedMD errata as well I guess).
@@GizmekGalaxy I don't really see 1 dragon turning into a link 2 & a tracer not being of value to some high tier combo deck or other, muddy into dragoon gets added towards the end of the year too, & it being simply the best combo deck right now is pretty much luck besides, it could have gone differently than it has up to this point with euros still the goal, & some combos don't even use redm already.
Dragons/Dark Dragons are getting an overall decent buff with Noctovision Dragon from ETCO I'd say.
yanno, i’ve watched every single yugioh from scratch episode you’ve posted . i’ve been here since episode 1 was uploaded and me and my friends talk about your series all the time . obviously i’d love to see this series keep going and go into 2021, but it also feels too stretchy yanno ? i personally think changing the goal would be the best outcome . all up to you tho king
It took me 26 episodes to realize that during my sophomore year of high school, which was around the same time Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark side of Dimensions came out, I was buying the good movie packs like crazy trying to pool Altenative Blue eyes, Chaos Max Dragon, and Chaos form. And I did! But I sunk way too much money into it when I really should have just gone online. Anyway, awesome video man.

End it on UK Nationals this year, i really watched the deck grow but, dragon link is not gonna prevail untouched since its a very good meta deck, i hope that in next year there would be a next season with a brand new deck!

I wouldn’t mind watching Yugioh from scratch season 1 till the Euros but at some point there would probably just be nothing left to achieve and where you have the perfect version of your deck, that point might be in 5 weeks or maybe in 13 months, nobody knows but at the end I will be happy with whatever decision you make! :D

Ah finally caught up. Been loving this series man. Even though I’ve never played an irl ygo duel with any cards from the gx era or beyond and only play duel links. I don’t want to talk about it and still have ptsd from sylvans and amazoness of all the stupid things lol. Either way I still don’t know what half these cards even actually do but find all these vids so interesting and fun to watch. Glad you blew up and keep it up :)
My vote goes to dragging it on to 2021, the videos are always enjoyed by me and my fam and it would be more of a journey to see how the deck curves with the new sets and meta, or if it does jut go to nationals another sealed only would be great too , hope your cat gets better too

Honestly, i would'nt complain if you stretched the series out to next year's Euro's, this is a good enough series that I want it to go on as long as possible.

You could use world legacy-world crown as an extender because if your going second and something happens when it’s on field to stop Maggie eff you can tribute it negate the eff and you still get maggie

Dude i have played that matchup crusadia-cyber dragon so often cause my friend plays crusadia and I play cyberdragons aaand yeah, normally it's game for me if i open ghostogre because you can just hit the elpy and then otk him through even up to two negates and he makes those unnormal boards with 7 negates and that stuff with the gameciel kaiju and yeah i think most of the times I won but I guess the opponent played not w/ 18 Handtraps as I do 😂

I say just go to nationals, if you drag the series out you’ll end up getting everything you need, then you’ll just be grinding for bow mummy for half a year
How you want to put dragun in? You need to run dark magicians with red eyes black dragons and cards like red eyes fusion isnt it too many cards for the deck
You should do BOTH!!! I think you should work towards Nationals as a main goal and then if the deck (Elpy) doesn’t get hit then you continue to 2021 Euro but if it does then START OVER 😂. Joking aside, I think if the deck does get destroyed by the ban list I would LOVE to see the series start over with a new deck entirely!!!

In the dino game you can't activate Boot Sector Launch as set rotation doesn't let you activate new field spells until the two chosen have been destroyed
GanjaGoku 69420 both field spells were active at the time of activating Boot Sector Launch
Set Rotation only requires both spells to longer be ‘set’

So, what kind of decks are you considering playing in the new format? I hear d/d/d is making its comeback, which I'm psyched for, because im a ddd player. Heroes will get better, but I doubt they'll hit top tier.
I would say end this series this year so that it isn’t dragging on and if you want to do another series for next year with a different deck, that would be cool

What if you manage to get the Nuke streak, you can get any 1 card from outside the budget; from your personal collection, a single from a store/online?
Channel is going well,so I would suggest you do UK Nationals 2020 but after that continue until Euros 2021 as well. NOTE: Euros 2021 is far away so maybe it would be good to change the deck(archetype) after Nationals - your choice
I love the series. But to keep the content fresh the 2020 goal would be the best choice i think!
How about start building another deck soon so you would have an option to choose between dragon link or the 2nd deck for the euros next year?

I just returned (quit mid 2016) to the game last week so I don't know much about the current state of the game and nothing about upcoming releases.
Edit: Oooooh the mega tins, I see. Yeah, besides the monarch structure deck release it will always be the most hyped release for me.
@@red_dll Dragun of red eyes will be released. One of the strongest cards. Basically as long as you have hand cards you can negate everything and just destroy enemy boss monsters by card effect super strong card

Ah, the promo card. I haven't had a look into it but that seems crazy good.
I have to say, coming back after almost 4 years is hella confusing. The game developed so much, combo decks are everywhere! I built a salad deck online and find it to be quite user friendly because it doesn't go that crazy with the combos. But even that is relatively hard. Good that this game is very good with learning by doing :D
@@red_dll I understand, I havent played competitive yugioh in 14 years and Revz has got me wanting to do it again so ive been doing my best to learn what I can amd started going to locals just has the social distancing became a thing

I would vote for UK nationals. I absolutely love this series and would love to potentially see another one for next year’s season, but there is only so much you can reasonably optimize a deck through this format and another year would get stale

Idea for nuke: you get to buy any box or any products under 70 Eus in addition to that weeks money. That would give you 100 Eus to spend and would let us see an actual big opening instead of the smaller ones we see now
