If you stack from a Lowgain OD (like a Timmy), the Suhr sings beautifully.

The Riot is a bit more transparent, but the OCD has a better sound on note attacks.

Try the OCD with the Tone at about 10 or 11 o'clock (and adjust to taste). Anything with too-much-treble Sounds weak, thin, cheap and Ice-picky. The OCD is Killer.

I own the Suhr. I found the OCD to be too boxey and didn't have the dynamics of the Suhr.

I thought the Suhr sounded great with the Vox. It sounds more like a Marshall in a Box pedal than just an average overdrive.

I agree. I own a Donner Morpher, which is a Riot clone, and it sounds more like a Marshall than any of my "Marshall in a box" pedals. I paid $30 for the Morpher and it actually sounds just as good as my $200 Pal800 Gold Overdrive which was handmade in Venezuela. (🤔... Oh well)

Riot has better dynamics and note definition. Ocd is warmer and more on "in your face distortion."
