Beautiful swatching, and just as I was thinking they reminded me of my semi undo “brights” set, you pulled it out! It was my first paint set, lol - I think I got that before I even had brushes and paper. I want these too, although I’m not quite sure how to use them yet.
I started with pencils and watercolors were so difficult for me at first. It was from hatred to great love))) Look, these paints were born for single-color (maximum two-color) drawings. You can draw the structure of stone, wood, earth, leaves with them. But all this must be done by introducing water blots later. I drew and then added a drop of water to the finished layer. The effect is super. Or watch my E sumi review on my channel, there I show how to draw a Japanese-style spruce with them
the black tubes were for Chinese Painting style, which is close to gouche. BUT obviously from your demo, its closer to watercolour. Paul Rubens is undergoing some kind of confusing change
This is a real watercolor) But how to use it and in what styles to paint is your choice. You can paint in translucent thin layers, or you can apply watercolor paste like gouache. Different style - different technique)
How does this Set is called and where did you buy it? 😅😊
