I have this fantastic Amp since yesterday....Yes, it´s a very great warm, crunchy Sound. Huge tone, very nice.....best sounding in combination with my fender and suhr strat.
What setup did she use for the outro song? She’s doing a high-gain lead tone, but the amp settings in the back are those for the pristine clean, with volume on full, gain at zero and boost off.
Great video but please could you put out what was used to produce the sound? What cab or output setup? Mic or torpedo capture? Also what is that amazing guitar that she's playing? Thanks
Does it match a 16 ohm cab? If it does, how loud would it be with a 1x12, 16 ohm, 97.3 sensitivity rated speaker cab? Loud enough to play with a rock band, various venues. Thank you
Yes, it matches 16 ohm cab for 1x12 cab, or also you can use 16 ohm cab for 2x12 in parallel wiring, because Laney feets 8 and 16 ohm cabs. I tell you 15 w is pretty loud for small gigs.
@@fsh3702 Depends on what you're looking for. They're entirely different-sounding. The Blues Junior is a very bright amp, where this amp is very dark-sounding. I think they're both good at what they do, you have to see what fits your style better. If you play a bright guitar, it's probably nice to go for a darker amp, and also the other way around applies. However, some people like combining dark and dark, as well as bright and bright, such a Fender guitar into a Fender amp.
but can it do the brown sound?????.....joking but really lb1 needs to come down to 1500 at least so I can buyout with credit. can I jus get the pick up set?
I would think so, certainly when you play with higher gain settings, I am getting one too and hope there is enough clean headroom for playing with a drummer, I have been told it will be loud enough. When mine has arrived and I will come back here and share my opinion with you :) or did you get one by now and can tell me?
@@markg9254 It is definately loud enough for our purposes, took it to a small gig, played 21st century schizoid man with it and had volume not even half cranked I think you would be very happy with it :)
Love that face of joy when playing. Got one of these, amazing amps, I´ve been a fan of Laney for long, and now of Lari. Muito obrigado, Lari!
I think this will be my next amp. Really like what i hear and a very affordable price tag. Sounds beautiful!!!
Awesome playing. Thx for the review, this amp is high on my list

Wow, what a perfect combination of the guitar, amp and your playing. Very nice.
The second she pressed that boost, my eyes popped out of their sockets and chilles went down my spine. That is one hell of a boost.
Lari is one hell of a player!
You sure know you turned it on, no need to look! 🤘🤘
Wow. Incredible player!
Loved that tune at the end. Very reminiscent of a certain other Ibanez player back during his Passion & Warfare days.
Lari is awesomeeee!
What were you running the head into to get these recorded sounds? And around 3:35, was that solo sound with the BOOST function engaged?
ótimo amplificador e com a Lari fica melhor ainda ! fantastic Lari, congratulations 🇧🇷👊
😢Ya vi que a mi me gusta v 😮vy😢hola mi 😢😢5
The cub was already great back then... So underrated. If they did a 20 to 30 watt version i'd buy one for sure
Fantastic amps!
Very nice tones
Thanks! Lari is awesome!
Great! Wonderful phrasing.
I do like the warble sounds you get with the trem tho! Nice!
WoW ! You rock ! Great tones, great skill. Impressive.
Great playing Lari
As always!
So beautiful tones....but....what fx/pedals you're using with the supertop ??
What the world was that magic at 3:54 was that the vibrato arm springing back and forth!?
Utter magic!
The tone only just pips the colour coordination which is epic! Great sounding head and amazing playing. Was this direct or mic’d up through a cab?
Great amplifier! Plug n play and be inspired.

Was this though the Laney 2x12?
Nice. All you need now is the right LP.
Magistral, que buen eejemplo y tips para encotrar ciertos efectos de sonido en la guitarra utilizando LANEY, AMO tu musca LARY.

Thanks
heart warming music
no answer ?? I m assuming it is a cab sim
I’m curious, do you miss your burgundy mist tele? I have one myself, and miss hearing/seeing you play it.
That guitar is gorgeous! 😍 Is that an artist model? Looks like an AZ but with a tele body. And in purp. Wow.
It’s her signature model
wondering which cabinet and speakers were used; it will affect the tone quite a lot
Lavender Lari!
IMPRESIONANTE LO QUE TOCAS ERES MI NUEVO IDOLO...SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA
Are u going straight in, or are using effects?

I have the combo. It is the Blues Junior killer. Kills it stone dead.
Is it? It really sounds better than Blue Junior?

Jack Thammarat got me into Laney
I actually just clicked on this for the guitar not the amp. Does anyone know what model that is? I've never seen one of these.
Its the Ibanez LB1-VL!
but can it do the brown sound?????.....joking but really lb1 needs to come down to 1500 at least so I can buyout with credit. can I jus get the pick up set?
Is this head with 2x12 loud enough for a classic rock band with hard hitting drummer
I would think so, certainly when you play with higher gain settings, I am getting one too and hope there is enough clean headroom for playing with a drummer, I have been told it will be loud enough.

Never heard of her, an amazing player tho.
Lari is awesome, you should check out more of her stuff. Prepare to be amazed!
UA-cam. 90% paid endorsement infomercials and they still have the balls to interrupt them with ads.
Satriani tones
She is cool, but she talks like she is a bit drunk mildly
It's just her personality, she's certainly not drunk here.
She is overtuned !
I really wish they made this head with 6V6 power tubes, like in the Cub 10, rather than EL84s. Much nicer breakup in my opinion
I don't know, I have an old Cub 8 and I don't enjoy the breakup in it as much as in the Cub Super series ones.
