I found a 2006 MJ 20th anniversary card I sent it to PSA and it came back a GM-MT 10 worth more than 700
I'm watching this video while I'm preparing my value bins for the next show in 2 weeks. I think it's nice to offer a clean top loader. I sell a bunch just because they are presented well.

I only buy if in toploaders. Value boxes in penny sleeves I skip. So you’re right.
My local shop has all their value bins in sleeves and sorted by team. It’s so useful, now, I’ve started to do it with my collection at home
So moral of the video is they should be looking more often in their own dollar bins.
The Value bins are all the cards the card shop don’t think will get a PSA 9 or 10. Most shops send in massive grades cards submissions so they inspect every card

Picked up Rece Hinds Leaf Perfect Game 1/1 auto for 10 at Burbank. Dude hit 3 hrs the next day and I sold it for 175. 3 days later he was sent down to Louisville. Baseball is a funny game.

I actually hit one of those Duncan/Ginobili duals from Origins out of a break! I bought a player break spot to try and chase one of Manu’s on-card autos…didn’t hit any, but that was a nice consolation.

The Value bins are full of all the cards the card shop doesn’t think will get a PSA 9 or 10. Most shops send in massive graded card submissions so the rejects go to the value bins.

I found a Clyde Drexler Skybox USA card in a $0.25 a few months ago. Jaw hit the floor when I saw it.
This is the card that was a redemption.
Best Buy was a Luka Doncic Black Pandora contenders optic base paid $10 sold for $180
I found a 2024 Topps Series 1 Reds Team card /799 for a $1... sent it to PSA since it features Elly and got a GEM 10... sold it for $100

Hey! Something occurred to me yesterday watching Freddie Freeman win the game on a walk off grand slam…why are Mike Trout’s card values so much higher, on average, than Freeman? Makes no sense if you look at his stats…am I missing something?

Value bins are great for pc especially when they’re sorted by player/team. I just got a Triston casas rc and hammered Stevenson rookie for $5, they don’t hold value but they look great

Only searched bins at one card show and found a 1966 Jim Palmer rookie for $1. Bought that bitch and immediately left before he realized 😂 took it down to the shop and sold it for $50 same day. Got a good lunch for essentially a buck

1:39 ugh my biggest pet peeve showed mine cards to a friend and thought he stole some but I never said anything and a month later I found a stck of 20 sleeved ultra rares in a bulk box at the minimum put them back where u found them

My best card ever found in a dollar box was in Tucson and was an Antonio Gates rookie numbered to 99. Sold it years ago for 176.00 on ebay, best buck buy of my life

Wow. A video on etiquette for value boxes. Clearly running out of content to create. And there’s zero value in value bins unless it’s for your pc. If people literally dig thru value bins to sell on eBay or grade. It’s not worth it. There’s a reason. Those cards in value bins to begin with. Bc they are a hard sell for the shop or dealer!
