I just send link to this to my son who appreciated me actually having TR66 and I gave it to him. It appears at approximately 2:00. He wanted to buy one and the pricing now is around 200$ and I bought it around 2000 at 40$. Our TR66 is in excellent condition. Never imagined Acetone/Roland/Boss released this much. We are so used to XOX and CR78. Besides CR78, the king of retro rhythm boxes, I think TR66 is the best looking 😊

...& I say thanks for showing! Is the background music self-produced?

Arrangers are left off the synth history videos (for reasons) but grooveboxes get included in the drum machine video. Nice video series but the rules are kind of wonky.

So Arrangers should be in Rhythm Machines? Bro Rhythm Machines are little things you bang with fingers. Arrangers are keyboards. Cmon man. Don't open with this comment.. I will do a vid abuts them too. If I only had ten hands and 3 heads.

Algorithm screwed me big time over Tama Drums/Guitars videos. Nobody watched them, low watch time, no likes, comments. And my channel is not recommended to more ppl..no new subs..

@@TML0677 I'm just trying to understand the rules for the categorization here. Grooveboxes kind of belong in their own category because they are more than drum machines. Many synths have drums and sequencers built in as well, but I'm sure we can agree they wouldn't belong in this video (ahem, SH-4D). I won't even get into the messy debate about the definitions of a drum machine, rhythm machine and rhythm arranger since no one will win that argument. I get that it's a lot of work to do these videos and I'm not slamming you or the videos. I'm just suggesting the categorization rules should either be more or less restrictive so there will be less criticism from viewers.

..so I am a bit afraid arrangers won't be watched by synth guys..there I said it... What do you think?

@@TML0677 The algorithm is still the make/break factor here, but that unfortunately cannot be changed. How about a short teaser video listing what video categories you might be doing to see what people might be interested in (comment participation?). This will give you an idea of where to put your efforts. Still sucks that there are no guarantees of getting more subs, but YT doesn't reward creators for being honest and not using cringe promotional tactics.
