Amazing and very proud of you Elvis , as ur aunt .... proud to see u very smart and narrating the maram culture... the whole family love you and we shower our blessings for you . 😍😍😍😍
I am so PROUD of you @Elvis. Lot more to hear and see from you, go girl go.....you always make us proud ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ We pray that God Bless you abundantly ❤️❤️❤️
I think Maram Naga are little bit similar to my Zeme Naga tribe . Maram Called Morung as 'Hang seki' & we called 'Hang seu ki' And local drink is same we also called 'Hejausang'
Gosh!!!! This is truly a hidden gem vlog, man I hate the UA-cam algorithm showing unrelieved, indistinguishable, and meokbang which really kills the enthusiasm and Mehhh all the time. Three cheers to the creator. Cheers!!!
So so so proud of my girl @Elvis making best use of not having classes😁.... visit and explore more places and make more more videos. Me who never visited north east places loved to see different traditions existing out there and make more vlogs like this💖💖💖 lots of love
𝙆𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙉𝙜𝙞, Zeliang Naga of Nagaland also use 𝙉𝙜𝙮𝙞 for a festival too. 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙠𝙞, Zeliang Naga called it 𝙍𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙞 or for that matter, the same word 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙠𝙞 can also used and understood as for the 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙜. 𝙕𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 or 𝙕𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙪 the same term is used by the Zeliang Naga for the local brew you have introduced. I being a Zeme Naga from Nagaland, I have never heard Maram language in my lifetime. I was surprised by the name that you used as shown above were all so close to Zeme Nagas language too. Looks like, to understand Maram for me won't be a problem. 😊 Thanks for the video... 👍🤝😎
Thank you for watching it very close. Indeed The Maram and Zeme dialect are very similar. The Marams can somehow understand when they hear Zeme Dialect. It’s more like Angami and Mao dialect or even closer than that when it comes to similarity.
Happens usually in the month of December (Marams call it "Kang ngi kii", meaning " month of Kang ngi"). But since the festival is celebrated based on the lunar calendar, the date varies each year.
A round of applause for you ELVIS💯well done!!! . . Also ,from my pov ...the word 'chief' would be more preferably appropriate instead of the word 'king' why because the word 'king' is used in the realm of Western culture : one who rule a massive kingdom last but not the least the word 'chief' would be more fitting in our traditional culture . Btw it is worth watching!!✨keep it up🤝
I disagree with ur statement. "Chief" refers to someone who heads a group of people or organization. It is not hereditary. Whereas a king is one who represents both the land and its people. Moreover, it is hereditary. Hence, "king" sounds much more appropriate and justified. As far as I know, the Maram people still follow the hereditary kingship. He is called "sagong" which literally means "king". He is assisted by his fellow chiefs of various "khels" who are known as "sagongkapara" (not very sure of the spelling). Even today, the Maram king continues to follow the ancestral religion.
Baby @elvis you always find a way to get it done - and done well.
