im really late commenting on this but in 2022 after getting home from a hospital stay i would put on shareware madness VODs to keep myself from freaking out about my health issues and so they always mean a lot to me. joey probably won’t see this but i felt the need to share anyway.
That Amy's Fun-2-3 game was my childhood game; I played it so many times. Hearing the sounds is an instant nostalgia trip. Haven't seen it in ages. It's so bizarre and awesome to see Joel play it now.
Man, I can't believe Joel never saw Pickle Wars before. It's from the same woman that done a couple things for Apogee, "Math Rescue" and "Word Rescue". She even recycled all the sound effects from those games, and most of the engine. Still fun, tho.
The joke talk thing was legit freaky. Clearly the audio got corrupted and it made it so much worse, the horrid electrical warbling accompanied by the LSD visuals and “HELP ME” would have FREAKED ME OUT if someone put that on my computer
