The very first impression was that it was "just OK", but a few minutes into the dry down and it just turns into something quite nice! Not sure about the performance though.. Felt a bit softer than the previous Cool Water releases. But I need to test it more 😊
Have you tried it? A light and almost bright kind of powderiness. Not as bright powdery as Armani Code Parfum is since it doesnt have that citrusy freshness but it's a very easy to wear kind of powderiness 🤩👌
@@rottenrebels Yes, smelled it at the store on paper 2 days ago. It was subtle and nice. It didn’t surprise me at all, but maybe that’s a good thing. Code Parfum is great, very underrated in my opinion.
I'm a pine freak too. 😳 I suppose you could say....that I pine for pine. 🤭🌲🌲🌲 Habit Rouge my fav of the bunch!! Give it some time, believe me. 😉 Just yesterday I tried the re-bottled edp and am glad to say that the formula hasn't changed. Very glad the line is still alive. For now....
@@rottenrebels The edp goes straight into that powdery vanilla with a touch of raunch without the brightness of the edt. It's a true edp. Same scent but bottom heavy.

Haha, you guys are such a blast to watch! I actually got the parfum version of Chrome earlier and I'm liking it but... the pine is gone, replaced by a harsher and darker balsamic, resinous vibe. The lavender is replaced by sage too. It's a true parfum in that it's richer, darker and perfect for winter but I think I prefer the EDP myself.

The Armaf box happened to me as well with Club de Nuit Untold! I bought it for my girlfriend as its a BR540 clone. She was so confused when she opened the box. I was so embarrassed!

@@rottenrebels I’ve tried almost all and based off reviews of the ones I haven’t tried I could say Ruby (BR540 Extrait) great I own it and it’s a beast, tobacco (Tobacco Vanille) great take and another beast, Blue (Bleu De Chanel) good take but already so many blues in my collection, Blue Exclusive (Layton) phenomenal and great quality, Emerald (Greenly) Solid but not amazing, Gold & Gold Extreme (Erba Pura) awesome and beast, Carbon (Green Irish Tweed) meh, white, black, meh original floral/woody type scents

I got amber oud gold extreme and I love it. it last sooo long sillage and projection is massive! I got a few compliments the first day a wore it. It’s slightly more masculine than erba pura and the OG amber oud gold

@@James-cq5sy some of them are really good (Armaf, Rasasi, Al Haramain, etc) but a lot of them release so much and a lot of the stuff is just quite messy low-quality scents. But among everything they release, there are some truly FANTASTIC gems. So far, Rasasi is the one with the most such gems with Armaf close behind. 😊 Which is your favorite brand?
I just got a bottle of Urban Man Elixir, it does remind me of Sauvage but it's a lot closer to Gisada Ambassador. Just like Gisada Ambassador it's like Sauvage but without the strong pink pepper note and with a lot of sweet fruitiness.

@@rottenrebels I tried the blue edition. It smells great but get close to skin not more than an hour after of application. I guess the projection isn't really there. The tobacco edition is a killer for me. Still, people have to get their noses closer to me to catch it, the projection on this line seems kinda poor🤔 may be I should let the juice maceration because they are all 2022 batch
We all know that you go crazy about Le Labo Santal 33, so am i :) And when wearing Santal i always get remindet about the time in France and the moment when i stood up early to run through the pine forrest to the ocean to check the daily surf condition. So it has to be the pine accord from this perfume which also makes you to like the Chrome Edp.

If you like coffee in scents and think you would enjoy one with a big dose of vanilla and a bit of woodiness and it all being sort milky and a bit sweet then try it out 😊👍 it’s definitely one of my favorites from the house 👌
Hi! I think they are quite different. I like Intense Cafe a lot, but I actually think I like Coffee Break more. Intense cafe is very much a focus on rose and vanilla with the coffee in the background and it all being slightly powdery. I don't get anything floral in Coffee break and to me it's not powdery. It's very much a focus on coffee, vanilla and lavender with a bit of woodiness and it all being slightly sweet and quite "milky" or lactonic. I like how it's more intense on the coffee (compared to intense cafe) and all the layers it has to it and I love that sort of creamy/milky feel. So quite different 😊

I've actually tried Prada LHomme and it just wasn't for me. I know I hear so many people loving it but it just was blah for me. I want to smell coffee break because I already have 3 of the replica scents but I'm not a fan of coffee. If it smells like Bailey's then perhaps. And I found Amber oud to be phenomenal.
If you're not into coffee then maybe stay away from Coffee Break 😊 It's definitely coffee in it even though it's probably one of the easiest to like coffee scents I ever put my nose to. Is that the original amber oud you are referring to ? 😊

@@rottenrebels yes I've tried Rouge, Tobacco, Exclusif Classic, Exclusif Sport, Exclusif Emerald and Exclusif Bleu. There are also White, Carbon, Bleu from the line. The Exclusif are extrait de parfum. I believe you'd really enjoy Exclusif Bleu which is an amazing Layton alternative and got me compliments on the first wear. Exclusif Emerald is a PdM Greenley clone not sure how close since I haven't smelled the OG. Hope this helps!!!
@@keithhogan2336 🤔 there is this information going around that, the blue exclusive and other names ain't actually from the house of Al haramain and someone did say he contacted al haramain and they confirmed it too that it isn't their product. I went to their store and asked for it...the attendants were clueless about it
The blue edition smells nice which is actually from them but I doubt projection on it ...gets close to my skin in just 1hour after application but lasts up to 8hours on my skin and could still sniff it on my cloth the next day though i used to be generous spraying on myself 😂I know I can only do that with mostly fresh fragrance

I prefer Amber Oud Gold original, the pure Parfum has a note I don't care for in it.

@@rottenrebels yes I've tried Rouge, Tobacco, Exclusif Classic, Exclusif Sport, Exclusif Emerald and Exclusif Bleu. There are also White, Carbon, Bleu from the line. The Exclusif are extrait de parfum. I believe you'd really enjoy Exclusif Bleu which is an amazing Layton alternative and got me compliments on the first wear. Exclusif Emerald is a PdM Greenley clone not sure how close since I haven't smelled the OG. Hope this helps!!!
@@keithhogan2336 🤔 there is this information going around that, the blue exclusive and other names ain't actually from the house of Al haramain and someone did say he contacted al haramain and they confirmed it too that it isn't their product. I went to their store and asked for it...the attendants were clueless about it
The blue edition smells nice which is actually from them but I doubt projection on it ...gets close to my skin in just 1hour after application but lasts up to 8hours on my skin and could still sniff it on my cloth the next day though i used to be generous spraying on myself 😂I know I can only do that with mostly fresh fragrance
