    My bro bought $750k house and “sold” it too kid for $300k. Wink wink. He has a ton of money. The co website has all details of buy/sell for last 5 yrs, house was 200k in 2016. Was fully remodeled in 2018. Value went from 200k to 840k this year. Yes, I’m jealous he gave kid a sweet deal. That’s life.

      No jealousy needed, he lost 450k "selling" it to his kid. When shtf, the 840k value will disappear like the fog.

    Cpi doesn't include food and many other things. Those that go grocery shopping see the real truth.

    • @Ryan-ep8yu
      @Ryan-ep8yu 3 хвилини тому

      This just isn't true. You're spreading misinformation. CPI includes thousands of metrics and food and energy is apart of that. You can clearly find this on the BLS website.
      What you're referring to is core CPI. And yes, core CPI doesn't include those things but that's different and you can see both anytime you want. So why spread misinformation?

    I think the realestate tax needs to be weighted by the income level and how long you have owned the property. Lets face it, the RICH OWN LOTS OF LAND and it MUST BE TAXED.. the working Joe should not pay property taxes based on market prices unless it is on a scale of how long they own the property and what is his income.. so, is should be AFFORDABLE tax, not the horrible BS it is now.

    • @DoubleOhSilver
      @DoubleOhSilver 2 години тому +2

      Property tax is a scam. There is no transaction to tax. It's just rent, you never own your own property that you paid for and tend. At least for the land you live on. Extra properties make sense to tax.

    I say no property tax on your primary home but others are taxed. If we eliminate all property tax then investment companies and mom and pop ones will buy even more homes and have zero tax to pay. Also may the tax for flipping a home based on the net profit between buying the house and what they sold it for. If they try to sell it for more than the 4% house inflation rate then cjarge a higher percentage .
    If you are renting the home then base it off the net profit. Ei the monthly mortgage cost of the original loan. ( refinancing and taking out equity won't allow you to charge nore) and subtract the rent price from the mortgage cost. Then rax the amount left over. This way landlords can't just pass it onto the renters.

    The truly sad disgusting thing about real estate is the Over Inflated Housing Prices!! Houses are NOT WORTH their selling prices at all Anywhere Anymore. I’ve been looking to relocate for 1.5 almost 2 years. I am only the 2nd owner of the house I purchased in 2018 with original blueprints of build in 1998 on an acre of land. Suddenly I need to relocate & REFUSE to pay for what I’m seeing in the market compared to my 2018 purchase & I have cash !! I’m NOT Stupid but I need to move but I’m NOT paying this Over inflated prices for a house LESS than my own.

    • @annscott900
      @annscott900 31 секунда тому

      Nor am I going to pay overinflated property taxes. I’m trying to move to a property tax free State for those age 65 or more that also doesn’t tax your SS# income either. But the houses on market are in poor shape for the price for me to move right now no matter what my house sells for !!!

    Mitch, what is the alternative to 401k, if you pull it then automatic 20% tax hit, no growth, and your holding paper. If you roll over to IRA, your still in a volitile market. Gold IRA's are expensive, first the gold dealer sharks, premiums, IRA custodians, vault storage fees, then reverse those fees if you want to take a withdrawal, we are screwed either way.
