I am a Dominick Reyes fan, I really hope we see him champ one day but I just don’t think that time is now. I’d be interested in seeing him and Anderson duke it out for the title shot. lol I think part of his humor is that he wasn't really considered one of the best of his time, but he puts on a show as if he is all knowing. It's entertaining and takes a minute to get used to.
He's said some very wild shit before, but this one actually makes a lot of sense. There is no reason for Jon to justify fighting anybody. He's the one people are trying to beat as the champion.

The only two ranked opponents Reyes has faced were OSP and Volkan, and while he beat OSP decidedly (decision), the same cant be said against Volkan, who is outright known to be tough as all hell with some real power, he isn’t a great wrestler/grappler by most MMA measures... and he drove Reyes to a bad SPLIT-decision victory.
The question is, will Jon do what he like to do and play his opponent’s game, or do what he did to Gus (in the 2nd fight) and DC (in the 2nd fight) and fight to neutralize their strengths by fighter counter to them and their approach.

Floyd can punch. Specially pretty boy Floyd was knocking fools out. He lost a lot of his power when his hands got really jacked up and he adopted a defensive style. Mayweather has buzz behind his shots, he is no canelo or pacquiao but if you don't respect it you can get cracked.
True. I remember when mayweather and conor were gonna fight, all these mctapper fan boys were like "conor has serious power he can lay him out." Truth of the matter? Sure he has power....FOR AN MMA FIGHT. Even Mayweather not being a power puncher, he punches twice as hard as conor, and i was tryij to say that before the fight but it showed in the fight. Conor had very little on his punches in comparison. Thats why mayweather fought him with a diff style than he has anyone else because he knew hed walk thru those shots and knew hed wilt. Conor has wilted in every fight hes lost

I am a Dominick Reyes fan, I really hope we see him champ one day but I just don’t think that time is now. I’d be interested in seeing him and Anderson duke it out for the title shot. Reyes still has that controversial win over Oezdemir and his win over Weidman is impressive, sure, but we all knew going into that fight that Weidman is at the end of his career and is practically being fed to the wolves with Reyes. I don’t know, think it’s going to be a good fight for sure, but I am personally not yet convinced.
