Best pilots in the world are the Bolivians Why? Because they can actually use scraps from other planes and build a new one out of it risking their lives to do what they love to do. The beauty of flying...
If the pilot is landing at an airport at that elevation, wouldn't the ground roll be significantly higher, then why would he hold off the nose wheel for that long? get it down asap and get more weight on the wheels for braking! Or may be I just looked at it wrong.
//Good question, at altitude 8000' in the CRJ-200's, but as plane descends to ground it will go up in this case to outside air pressure at 13,325'. Some interesting facts:CPAM= Cabin Pressure Acquisition Module. The CPAM on the CRJ-200 provides the EICAS with the cabin altitude, cabin altitude rate of change, and cabin Delta P. It also causes the Fasten Seat Belts and No Smoking signs to illuminate if cabin altitude exceeds 10,000' with the switches in auto setting. The CPAM is also responsible for deploying the pax o2 masks automatically if cabin altitude exceeds 14,000'. The CRJ-200 is one of the few jets that can operate at this field.
Planes are pressurized to what? 8,000 feet? What happens when they open the hatch on arrival at 13K+? Whoosh? Low altitude dwellers keeling over? (what was landing speed?)
Looks the the captain is doing some pilot induced turbulence. Awesome view of La Paz. Wow!!! Really enjoyed this one. Thank you!
hermoso!!!, saludos desde mi hermosa Ciudad de México!!!
nice! high approaching speed cause of low air density
The headache after the arrival is insane lol. Well, at least for me was
I’ve been there twice :D some of my family is in Bolivia

HOPELESS ENTERTAINMENT so you’re saying Bolivian pilots make planes out of destroyed planes
Oh god what a breathtaking view
1:50 San Francisco can't beat that!
Nice landing by pilot, awesome video!
What a smooth landing
What's amazing to me is how much flat area there is at that altitude!!
Love landing at El Alto...but my stomach hates it
Amazing views you got there
Man, that seems like that runway is in need of a resurfacing
Wow.. Those instrument clusters!
La Paz is in Bolivia😊South Americait is one of the highest place in the earth🌽🌸🌹🌳🌲🌲🌿
Nice video
Amazing! Colorado has mountain peaks that are that high above sea level.
But no international airports at that height.
It's La Paz, Bolivia.
Very good.
Wow I would love to get my hands on that dvd, that high is almost unbelievable
Whats the landing speed there? 180kts+?
Que chimba!
awesome
What was the pressure alt? I know the CRJ-200 has a max T/O elevation of 10000ft?
EL ALTO ....LA PAZ !
Very nice. : )
Cuanto metros de alta? en medida ubternacional?
4010 mas o menos
PQ salta el GPWS?
What altitude is the cabin pressurized to?
Crazy!!

Why are the dashboard always blinking
Because of the camera they are using.
Tinham que passar por cima de várzea grande MT Brasil também todos os que vai pro São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro
if it's 13,325 feet outside what altitude would the plane be pressurised too
It would be completely depressurized upon landing.
The pressure in the cabin would be higher than outside since the cabin is pressurised to around 8,000 ft

A D I get a headache just thinking about the pressure change
kobie melverton Not true, you could not open the doors.
Tem que pousar em várzea grande MT aeroporto marechal rondom internacional Cuiabá Brasil esse modelo passa por cima de Cuiabá indo para lá paz de dia
Passengers get seasick when go out because of altitud.
i was playing this in fsx. beware of the terrain at night

Seems that he is parking rather than landing.
Os A340 internacional A380
