Removing the legacy styles was probably a good thing especially since most of them wouldn't look good on the skin, but I wish they still kept that 2nd style since some of them drastically improved the skin

To preface, I have had crew every month since it started. The skins for crew used to be so much better. There were terrible ones, but there were also bangers like green arrow and loki. I think since the legacy set change, the quality and uniqueness of the skins has gone down. Also, the stupid legacy variants look weird when the hair and other details don't change
i definitely agree. I stopped caring about the crew pass once the legacy rolled out as a norm because the skins were just lower quality, didn't get thesame rewards as you used to, and again, the skins dropped quality a lot

We also got STW as part of the crew a couple of times. At $11.99, the 1000 V-Bucks, Skin and Battle Pass alone are with every penny. The added value is way better than legacy styles.
Yeah - aren't we getting extra BattlePasses? That makes up for fewer variants. I really only care about the LEGO skin. They weren't getting variants already.
I have a bunch of crews I use regularly like sylvie, Dhalia, lexa, skull lady with the bucket hat, chick with the dress, boots and baseball cap, the new one Dali or something… love the second variant. etc… I have some that I’ve never worn like that horrid pink and black cat demon looking thing but I definitely use a bunch. Sorry about forgetting most of the names… I’m horrible with names.
Technically it's 5 battlepasses if you include the Rocket League pass. So a skin, back bling, pick axe, 1,000 V-bucks, Lego Pass, Music Pass, Battle Pass, OG Pass, and Rocket Pass. So them not having more to the skin part of the crew stuff isn't that bad.
Lol I was gonna mention that as well the main reason I got crew was cause then I get the battle pass for fortnite and rocket league instead of having to buy both of them the skin was a nice bonus

Knowing a skin you want works in Lego might be the essential thing that makes someone want to buy it. Believe it or not, people do play Lego and care about the Lego cosmetics.
with their absurd price for a pair of digital shoes? no, they would lose money at that point. 1k v bucks for shoes for free, 1k vbucks, thats 20 dollars already, battlepass, lego snd festival is 30 dollars i think. 50 dollars, for 12 dollars. they cant hemorrhage more money from crew, and besides battlepass is probably gonna include kicks (wild guess, it will be japanese type sandals, or normal shoes with japanese ornaments.)
As long as they make a high quality skin, i’m completely fine with no bonus styles to be honest. Aside from the second style the rest were just filler anyway.
I hope the extra styles are not gone I care mostly and almost only about the gold style! Gold style items go well together so you could mix and match. This may make me don't car about crew skins at all.
I like that we're going back to how it was, but wish they gave more stuff like back then. Back then we would also get a loading screen and music you could use for when you're in lobby. Still a good deal though, but I do miss when we would get loading screens, gun wraps, etc.
7:32 Demios also had a forgotten part of the pack which was for me personally the best and that was he gave you a pretty good hero in save the world but it also gave some players access to the game which is usually selling for almost 20 bucks
I liked the second style they released with the skins, but the auric-cosmic legacy variants felt pretty repetitive. Only a handful of skins I felt looked good with the variants, and if they were just going to keep adding the same "legacy" styles I wasn't excited to get them. It's less stuff strictly looking at the crew skin, but even then you have to consider the skins you get with the passes automatically that crew will provide, including potentially more stuff like they did in the past with wraps and loading screens. I don't think they will add the styles back at the next update (because that sounds weird to me, hasn't happened with the other crew skins), but it does seem weird they would announce all the changes to crew while still keeping another change hidden, even if it is the crew skin that's usually revealed later. I assume they'll just announce that change when they reveal her in the next few days.
I don't think it evens anything out, tbh. They're doing their best to shove those alternate games modes down our throats, not interested. So now I'm paying $13/mo for a skin and a battle pass, all the extra stuff I'll never use. I am now NOT getting my money's worth. Because I HATE those other 3 modes. I guess time (and chatter on X) will tell if I'm in the minority on this, but I just don't think it's worth a subscription anymore.

Maybe Crew would sell if the skins were actually good. For me personally, the only skins that have enticed me since I started playing were Katt, Ares, and Drakon Steel Hybrid. 3 out of 30 skins (including Lady of Cranes in the total, who I don't care for either) have made me pull money out of my wallet since Chapter 3 Season 3. I know it can be difficult to get your finger on the pulse of what will become popular, but so many of the Crew skins have been incredibly basic.
To be honest in my opinion the way they should've done new crew is give us the regular bp and OG bp, then let us select one of the other three bps from the other modes every month being Lego RL and festival because it feels like the lockers are going to be even more filled with items that some people will never get value from in the first place (meaning people who dont play lego or festival will never get value from that lego pass or festival pass) also we could keep our battle passes all season, instead of this new when it expires the bp goes away, and keep legacy styles
One thing i couldn't help but frel like the past few crew skins were ment to be part of a pass as the extra styles always felt like the super levels at the end
If we lose the Legacy sets, I can deal with it. I liked having more options for skins. But, it was annoying that, after the 2nd variant, it was always the same variants over and over again.
Love your videos. The only real downside to this is if don't continue with crew pass; you don't get to claim unfinished pass that give you. It's like you're on a time crunch to finish those passes in one month if you don't continue subscribing.
Dont see anywhere in your video that this has been confirmed by Epic. So I'm wondering.... could it just be that you haven't yet seen the future variants because they've withheld them from the update? Similar to when Lego was deployed, additional variants have been updated to existing skins. So isn't it possible that maybe they will still release variants in subsequent months and that you've just not seen them as they aren't in the files yet.
When they announced this skin will be part of December crew, I was hoping the second style will be the original design from the survey, I think that losing cosmetics could be worth it or not depending in how OG pass is build, if we just have one skin with one style I don't think is a good change and I will choose which crews to buy checking each month both skins.
Tbh this is fair, we are getting pretty much every pass included with crew now which is much better than some extra styles, also im at least happy crew is getting a skin every month still
I really think they should add some form of exclusive Crew Pack item again. Something to entice people to join during a season they’re excited for. Let’s say you join the Crew some time during C6S1 - you could earn a free wrap that matches the theme of the season; then if you stay subscribed to the Crew Pack all season long, or joined it before the end of the season, you could get a season-exclusive glider, or an aura, or a loading screen featuring all of the Crew Pack skins that fit the season’s theme. For example, fitting the C6S1 theme with all this Japanese mythology and culture, say you could immediately earn a shrine-themed wrap for subscribing during the season, a sakura tree glider similar to the C3S1 win umbrella for being subscribed before the season’s end, and a loading screen with all the Crew Pack skins released during the chapter and a cherry blossom Aura for being subscribed all season long. I’m not saying they need to bring back all those edit styles again, or do something more complicated like what they did for Vulpez’s set, but SOMETHING more enticing that just a skin, back bling, and harvesting tool every month would be nice, especially when they’re pushing all these newer cosmetic types like Auras, Kicks, Cars, and Instruments. If they give people more of a reason to stay subscribed that doesn’t punish them - like losing access to earning premium battle pass rewards by unsubscribing - maybe more people would not only subscribe to the Crew Pack, but be WILLING to stay subscribed.
If they are going to remove the legacy styles, i want the skins to have two unique styles or be bundled with unique things like loading screens/music like old crew packs
Tbh the way I see it I lose the alternative style to gain the work going into all the passes. like we get skins in the battle pass, we get one skin each from the music and Lego passes, and now in the og pass. Seems to be completely worth it even if we lose the legacy styles and stuff.
Its sad for those could only afford one sub per season! I think anyone who is spending the minimum of 12$ per season deserves more respect than this and ownership of the Battle Pass! They should not be holding the regular BP hostage. Apex Legends tried to make their players spend money on their Battle Pass and said themselves that it failed to do well.
I believe the only crew that ever had a full set was Phaedra. She had the skin, backbling, glider and loading screen. Not sure why she didn't get a wrap though

As much as i hated the same styles on the crew it at least made the crews have more veriety in choice instead of giving you this crew it looks so bland i can imagine how awesome that outfit could look with the legacy styles and if they could please change the legacy styles like imagine Ruby, daimond, emerald l, sapphire and so on styles. Instead of galaxy, gold and all that it would be beautiful.

I'm personally happy with this change. Between battle pass character, shop character you personally want, and crew, there were too many characters to try out. I like to try everything out at least once, including all extra styles. Because of the crew giving so many characters new styles at the start of the month and season. It was just a chore. I dont like earning styles and never tried them out.
I like that they're not continuing with the 'super styles' if a skin gets an extra style it should be themed to the skin/season. I really don't like the gold/iridescent/ice/cosmic styles to the Crew skins
The fact is, if you have the Crew pack, you're going to be getting all the Battlepasses, so you'll have access to all those cosmetics. I enjoy some of the extra styles, but they're just repeating the same styles and it's gotten boring. I wish they would use the Crew pack and give you wraps that match some of the Super styles from previous Battlepasses. I love that the Crew bonus styles all change for the accessories as well, which the Battlepass super styles haven't done in a long time.
I'll gladly take all passes included in Crew over the Legacy skins. They just felt like Epic wanted another reason for people to stay subscribed to crew, and outside a few cases most of the legacy styles look really gaudy
Couldn't be bothered with all those extra styles. Just make a good skin, pickaxe and backbling. That would be great. Not much of a loss in my opinion. This December Crew skin looks great.

I love the legacy styles but I didn’t like some of the characters but we are getting multiple battle passes that come with skins and accessories so hard to complain. Maybe the legacy styles will be the bonus style we get in the battle passes to counter that
Fortnite Crew, they had a Legacy skin starting from the first month you got a banner,spray& emoji 2nd month was lobbytrack, 3rd month was pickaxe, 4th month backbling 5th month skin this was the last Legacy Fortnite Crew which you got on top of the Fortnite Crew clearly nobody understand that we got more originally
they are also adding the music pass and lego pass to the crew pack and because they just need xp from any mode you will be able to get everything just by playing any mode and with the crew pack you get all the stuff without buying all the passes.
crew pass should let people select Lego styles from characters they don't have every month, maybe 3 characters for Lego a month, remember only lego not actual skin
Been subbed to the crew since it came out! Super cool to see more stuff added! I miss when they gave extra stuff like lobby tunes, wraps,STW, loading screens, and such. Like wit Vi, Joni, Sierra, etc. I kinda miss that 😅 new stuff in the crew will be sick though! 👍🏻 i feel the legacy stuff will still be around hopefully. If not that's a little disappointing.
i think they are doing bc the skins will release to item shop now, and since its alot of styles they dont want new buyers of the skin/set to feel left out just because they didnt get the cosmetics earlier on. Just My Guess Thoe

Tbh this is fair, we are getting pretty much every pass included with crew now which is much better than some extra styles, also im at least happy crew is getting a skin every month still
I really think they should add some form of exclusive Crew Pack item again. Something to entice people to join during a season they’re excited for.
Let’s say you join the Crew some time during C6S1 - you could earn a free wrap that matches the theme of the season; then if you stay subscribed to the Crew Pack all season long, or joined it before the end of the season, you could get a season-exclusive glider, or an aura, or a loading screen featuring all of the Crew Pack skins that fit the season’s theme.
For example, fitting the C6S1 theme with all this Japanese mythology and culture, say you could immediately earn a shrine-themed wrap for subscribing during the season, a sakura tree glider similar to the C3S1 win umbrella for being subscribed before the season’s end, and a loading screen with all the Crew Pack skins released during the chapter and a cherry blossom Aura for being subscribed all season long.
I’m not saying they need to bring back all those edit styles again, or do something more complicated like what they did for Vulpez’s set, but SOMETHING more enticing that just a skin, back bling, and harvesting tool every month would be nice, especially when they’re pushing all these newer cosmetic types like Auras, Kicks, Cars, and Instruments. If they give people more of a reason to stay subscribed that doesn’t punish them - like losing access to earning premium battle pass rewards by unsubscribing - maybe more people would not only subscribe to the Crew Pack, but be WILLING to stay subscribed.
Or go back to Fortnite Crew Legacy
If they are going to remove the legacy styles, i want the skins to have two unique styles or be bundled with unique things like loading screens/music like old crew packs

Tbh the way I see it I lose the alternative style to gain the work going into all the passes. like we get skins in the battle pass, we get one skin each from the music and Lego passes, and now in the og pass. Seems to be completely worth it even if we lose the legacy styles and stuff.
When you get the crew in chapter 6 and you cancel the crew in chapter 6 will you still be able to get the battle pass rewards?

Its sad for those could only afford one sub per season! I think anyone who is spending the minimum of 12$ per season deserves more respect than this and ownership of the Battle Pass! They should not be holding the regular BP hostage. Apex Legends tried to make their players spend money on their Battle Pass and said themselves that it failed to do well.
If they are getting rid of variants, which I kinda get, I would love to see like additional wraps, gliders, contrails, and screensavers
I believe the only crew that ever had a full set was Phaedra. She had the skin, backbling, glider and loading screen. Not sure why she didn't get a wrap though
I love legacy styles, I absolutely adore gold stuff so getting more of it basically every month was an absolute blast for me.
first they had either a bunch of cosmetics and good styles, then they had the repetitive styles, and now nothing

Finally I was already tired of that legacy styles 😮 because not all skins are good enough for a legacy style .

As much as i hated the same styles on the crew it at least made the crews have more veriety in choice instead of giving you this crew it looks so bland i can imagine how awesome that outfit could look with the legacy styles and if they could please change the legacy styles like imagine Ruby, daimond, emerald l, sapphire and so on styles. Instead of galaxy, gold and all that it would be beautiful.

I'm personally happy with this change. Between battle pass character, shop character you personally want, and crew, there were too many characters to try out. I like to try everything out at least once, including all extra styles. Because of the crew giving so many characters new styles at the start of the month and season. It was just a chore. I dont like earning styles and never tried them out.
I like that they're not continuing with the 'super styles' if a skin gets an extra style it should be themed to the skin/season. I really don't like the gold/iridescent/ice/cosmic styles to the Crew skins
The fact is, if you have the Crew pack, you're going to be getting all the Battlepasses, so you'll have access to all those cosmetics. I enjoy some of the extra styles, but they're just repeating the same styles and it's gotten boring. I wish they would use the Crew pack and give you wraps that match some of the Super styles from previous Battlepasses. I love that the Crew bonus styles all change for the accessories as well, which the Battlepass super styles haven't done in a long time.
I'll gladly take all passes included in Crew over the Legacy skins. They just felt like Epic wanted another reason for people to stay subscribed to crew, and outside a few cases most of the legacy styles look really gaudy
Couldn't be bothered with all those extra styles. Just make a good skin, pickaxe and backbling. That would be great. Not much of a loss in my opinion. This December Crew skin looks great.

I love the legacy styles but I didn’t like some of the characters but we are getting multiple battle passes that come with skins and accessories so hard to complain. Maybe the legacy styles will be the bonus style we get in the battle passes to counter that
We may get more edit styles like in the First Shadows set that was all CREW skins

Fortnite Crew, they had a Legacy skin starting from the first month you got a banner,spray& emoji 2nd month was lobbytrack, 3rd month was pickaxe, 4th month backbling 5th month skin this was the last Legacy Fortnite Crew which you got on top of the Fortnite Crew clearly nobody understand that we got more originally

they are also adding the music pass and lego pass to the crew pack and because they just need xp from any mode you will be able to get everything just by playing any mode and with the crew pack you get all the stuff without buying all the passes.

Just last year (Sep 2023) we even got music tracks. I think that's probably one of my favorite crew packs.
Getting all the passes to me kinda balances it out even if there isn't alternate attires
crew pass should let people select Lego styles from characters they don't have every month, maybe 3 characters for Lego a month, remember only lego not actual skin

Been subbed to the crew since it came out! Super cool to see more stuff added! I miss when they gave extra stuff like lobby tunes, wraps,STW, loading screens, and such. Like wit Vi, Joni, Sierra, etc. I kinda miss that 😅 new stuff in the crew will be sick though! 👍🏻 i feel the legacy stuff will still be around hopefully. If not that's a little disappointing.

i think they are doing bc the skins will release to item shop now, and since its alot of styles they dont want new buyers of the skin/set to feel left out just because they didnt get the cosmetics earlier on. Just My Guess Thoe
