the weight difference is around 60kg and the difference in the performance is not huge because of 2 things first stock 530 and 535d doesnt have such a difference in the times from 0 to 100 same as the 3 series but when remap the both engines the gap becomes bigger.The second turbine at stock condition is just reducing the turbo lag a little bit.Also the old pre facelift gearbox is struggling more with the extra torque.
@@Matero7 It's not the fact that 5 series is bigger, 5 series being 535 is BI TURBO, it means that has 2 turbines while on the other hand the 330 has only one, if there would be a comparison between 335d and 535d ( both have the exact same engine ) the 335d would win because it's lighter

Should try 530d Vs 330d . 535d Vs 335d. Better comparison.
