Always love your videos, but I think we've finally gotten to the point where most of the stuff in this dance are things you've done in other dances. I feel like I didn't see many new moves unfortunately.
Harrison Miracle Yea I’ve been noticing the same thing, especially on World of Dance earlier this year. I think they just need to evolve a bit, I love Poreotics too and they are damn near legends in the community, I just would like to throw out some criticism from a genuine place :)
Well the whole point of this was to redo their last performance on WOD and basically throw shade at WOD for the camera that caused the backflip mishap at the end so 🤷🏻♂️
@@Jewelzx808x Sure, but they've been re-using dance moves the past few years and this was just an amalgamation of stuff we've seen already. Just wanted to point it out cause I want to see some new stuff!
Jewelzx808x I’ll reiterate what Harrison Miracle said and would add that their cleanliness, through transitions as well, has declined a bit but I’ll agree with you there, WOD camera angles and especially their cuts/editing suck. It’s a shame what it does to the choreography of crews. Honestly it’s just criticism from a genuine place because I love Poreotics and World of Dance, have been since the beginning, just the slight criticism is in hopes that both do better in some aspects. At the end it’s all love for the dance community!
Jewelzx808x I also noticed that they fucked up the timing of a landing of the end of baby mills for one of the dancers of The Lab. I noticed that she didn’t stick the landing well but then I watched the raw/uncut front row version because I love the performance (Missy Elliot piece for reference) and caught that she landed it perfectly. I was like holy shit WOD fucked that up bad lol, makes you wonder how many other performances looked lack luster in parts because Hollywood can’t get the concept of minimalism when it comes to editing lol.
